“The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.”

Psalm 7:8

A good way to conserve energy

By Mike Huckabee

I’m stunned to hear that viewers didn’t flock to the seven late night “comedy” shows that devoted their Wednesday episodes to hectoring viewers with climate change alarmism. People apparently weren’t enraptured with watching Jimmy Kimmel interview climate scientists, John Kerry drone on to Seth Myers, or a cartoon “Mother Earth” tell Steven Colbert that religious people are to blame for climate change because "the concept of an afterlife gives you people the false hope of an escape hatch" (I'm tempted to ask what planet that planet is from.) Colbert also pushed for "government action" to "make everyone make the right choices..." FYI: If the government is forcing you to do something, that's not a "choice."

Actually, I’m not at all surprised to hear that Greg Gutfeld’s show on Fox News beat out every one of these shows in the ratings. He also beat the “serious” competition on CNN and MSNBC. I’m only surprised that his viewership wasn’t greater than all of those other shows combined. If you really want to conserve energy to save the planet, a good way to start would be by turning off your TV whenever any unfunny, leftist late night show comes on.

I feel misled

By Mike Huckabee

This is not the new, moderate, “woke” Taliban I was led to expect: The Taliban named more ministers and deputies to their new Afghanistan government, and they didn’t appoint a single woman. Color me shocked.

But they told us the Hunter corruption story was fake news...

By Mike Huckabee

During the 2020 campaign, liberal news outlets assured us that stories about Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings were just Russian disinformation, and social media platforms censored the New York Post’s now-proven report on the sleazy contents of his laptop. But having achieved their goal of getting Joe Biden into office, they still can’t stop the river of sludge that seems to flow from Hunter 24/7. The latest bombshell comes from Business Insider, which reports that Hunter sought a $2 million retainer from Libya to help recover their assets frozen by President Obama when Hunter’s dad Joe was Vice President.

Not only would it be potentially criminal for Hunter to be lobbying the government on behalf of Libya to get those funds released while his dad was Vice President, but journalist Glenn Greenwald explains at the link how the emails that revealed this are more evidence that the media deliberately “lied and lied” to the public to convince us this was fake news and to pay no attention to it.

I’ll have more on this next week, but before I delve too deeply into anything involving Hunter’s business dealings or laptop, I need to go buy a hazmat suit.

Fighting back against "trans" quackery

By Mike Huckabee

This is a very long article, but well worth the time if you’re concerned about this growing wave of "trans" quackery that’s victimizing our children: on the one hand, preaching radical, “57 genders” trans propaganda to young people; and on the other, pressuring doctors to respond to their gender confusion with no alternatives other than dangerous hormones and body-altering surgery that may be irreversible and leave them unable ever to have children.

This is an open letter written by a young woman who went through all this, regretted it, and “detransitioned.” It’s directed to Stanford University’s Dr. Jack Turban, one of the most influential promoters of this idea, and someone who denounces using psychological counseling as a first resort for dealing with gender dysphoria, as if drugs and surgery to permanently alter the bodies of confused young people were the only treatment. Ironically, this movement claims it’s helping these poor young people who feel “invisible,” but the writer says that those who regret their decision and want to go back to living as their natural, biological sexes are being ignored, silenced, and made to feel “invisible.”

The writer makes many other great observations, including that a survey Turban often quotes to back up his claims is actually an unscientific online poll filled with biased, propagandized questions and circulated by pro-transition advocacy sites. Also, other nations, such as Sweden, Finland and the UK, are “transitioning” away from the radical “surgeons playing God” idea and back to the common sense approach of offering young gender dysphoria sufferers counseling first.

There’s nothing “compassionate” about perverting medical science with a radical political agenda, or denying needed therapy to vulnerable young people, instead pushing them to make irreversible changes to their bodies when they’re not yet mature enough to make such decisions. We let them decide to pump their bodies full of dangerous chemicals at an age when they’re still years away from being allowed to legally drink a beer. As this letter makes clear, it’s also not “compassion” for doctors to turn their backs on people who are suffering pain and regret because they trusted doctors who prioritize a political agenda over their patients’ well-being. There used to be a medical term for all of this: “malpractice.”

Biden's UN speech was antithetical to U.S. interests

By Mike Huckabee

Here’s more commentary on President Biden’s speech this week to the UN, pointing out how removed from reality it was, and how antithetical to the interests of the United States.

I’m linking to this because it makes the point that Biden’s speech was built around his belief in solving all problems through “international diplomacy.” Indeed, he took it even further, declaring, “We’re opening a new era of relentless diplomacy.” Can you imagine anything that would irritate other nations more than a relentless diplomat?

Even since I started this political commentary racket, I’ve looked for inspiration to a great American, Will Rogers. His commentaries were read by both the powerful and regular working people, because he had a way of using humor, common sense and plain talk to cut through all the baloney and tell the truth. Recently, TCM aired “The Story of Will Rogers,” and I was again amazed at how many things he said in the early 20th century seem to apply just as well in the 21st. For instance: “Diplomats have this thing called ‘diplomatic language.’ It means they have a hundred ways to say nothing, but no way to say something.”

One reason the leftists hated Trump so much was that they accused him of being undiplomatic. But after seeing the results of a century of diplomacy, I think I prefer blunt truth. Judging from this Administration, I can only assume “relentless diplomacy” means having a thousand ways to say nothing instead of a hundred ways.

Making your voices heard works

By Mike Huckabee

Keep making your voices heard because it works: Texas Tech University has scrapped one of those racist “anti-racism” programs that would have required segregating students by race after determining that “it does not align with our university values.” That's a relief to hear.

Laughing v. "Clapter"

By Mike Huckabee

I’m pretty sure that none of my readers noticed this, but seven of the late night “comedy” shows proved this week that I need to start putting those quotation marks around “comedy” in bold type. They all devoted their shows to hectoring their viewers about climate change. The coordinated propaganda effort included a visit from John Kerry, who managed to stop flying around on private jets long enough to lecture us all about our carbon footprints. And the sycophantic hosts surely agreed, since they continue using lots of electricity to light up studios to do shows for which they fly in guests.

Tucker Carlson had some great comments about this…

And I’m sure Greg Gutfeld appreciated them driving even more viewers to his Fox News show, which was already the #1 late night comedy show because it’s the only one left that’s actually funny.

All this tedious liberal sermonizing must’ve had a lot of viewers missing Johnny Carson and Jay Leno even more than usual. It also probably fueled the ongoing mourning among comedy fans of the recent loss of fearless comic Norm MacDonald (who once had an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” canceled for one of his non-PC comments.) I’ve written before about how these shows have substituted laughter with “clapter,” a term comics use that means instead of laughing, the audience applauds when it hears something it agrees with. Here’s what Norm MacDonald had to say about that:

“There’s a difference between a clap and a laugh. A laugh is involuntary, but the crowd is in complete control when they’re clapping. They’re saying, ‘We agree with what you’re saying; proceed!’ But when they’re laughing, they’re genuinely surprised. And when they’re not laughing, they’re really surprised. And sometimes I think, in my little head, that that’s the best comedy of all.”

Pursuing clapter isn’t comedy at all, it’s just pandering. I guess you can build a career on it these days, as long as you pander to the left. But unlike with Norm, nobody’s going to miss you when you’re gone.

There's relentless diplomacy, then there's statesmanship; my criticisms about and to Mr. Trump have always been about his lack of statesmanship (I was once bold enough to actually call it just the streetwise manor it looks like to all but his compadres).

Pastor thank you for your clear analysis of the goings on in this marvelous, confusing, Society of ours. The horrible disgusting world of "Bidenism" is so unbelievable. Is Sorors living in the WH.?
Who or what is pulling the puppet strings? I read in the books of Jenkins and Lahaye. "Left Behind" series,,,,,,at some point the institutions will release all the conflicted inmates and they will go to DC for the rest of their lives,, and turn into socialist lazy empty heads.
(I added that last part). God Bless America.... We need to have a PRAYER WAR.

Accusations made that are false should have the same sentence or outcome as the entity being accused the immigrants being strapped whatever that means if the border patrol person is fired by the president and is innocent the president should be fired. Integrity honesty intelligence have all been composted in the Biden administration, all of this administration should be treated as a toxic compost all I can hope this administration is short lived when the new administration takes its place all illegals must be removed and reapply legally the immigration process has to be applied legally I want to bring people here that will help to maga our education system is not providing that product

Regarding how the MSM and 'Big Tech' is used by the Biden 'coup d' `etat' administration for their propaganda against American freedoms, values, traditions, and culture, involving the vaccine and mask mandates; wasn't the health care workers, first responders, and school workers, in the first wave of those to get the Covid vaccines? Why is a mandate necessary now? To distract us from shining light on the real problems facing America since the Biden coup took over. It is just a misdirection to cover up what the Biden 'coup's' administration wants to really do, to allow any illegal, non-American nationals with work VISAS, to have access to our most vulnerable private information, our medical records.

Now, all the leftist ruled Democrat-led blue states want forced mandates on health care workers, school attendees, and all of public workers to be vaccinated and then still mask-up or they lose their jobs.

Well, already many choose to not be vaccinated or to wear masks for various reasons, and so the health care system, that is already in a shortage of quality American workers, will get even worse.

As an example, the new interim Gov. Kathleen Hochul of New York State, admitted by stating in a news interview last week on TV, that if a shortage happens because health care workers go against the mandate, and lose their jobs, then they will find other health care workers WHO HAVE A VALID WORK VISA in this country, to take their jobs. A valid VISA to work in this country means non-American nationals, will be taking over the privacy of our medical history and our most vulnerable private information. Will there be any vetting of who gets access to our medical records? I doubt it, and we all know how easily something can be 'photo-shopped' to look authentic, that's where 'Big Tech' comes in to play.

Alien citizens from who knows what nations, with work VISA'S, will have access to all our private information to use however way they want to, like to sell it to the highest bidder for communist ruled countries like China, N.Korea, Russia, Iran, and to the Taliban. That is why the Democrat leadership, esp. in the Biden coup camp, are all for mandates and not for choice. Do they want it to sell our most private medical information to the corrupt nations for their own uses, like organ harvesting for one? So how can Q-anon not be a real threat? The mandates seem so innocuous, but in truth, it has more threatening reparations that can happen. And where is the ACLU outrage in all this? They are totally silent.

Regarding the articles on climate change and trans: i often just sit back and think “what can these people be thinking? “ Are they all drinking to much and/or taking narcotics? They sound like their brains are truly addled. Again, I cannot imagine why anyone in their right mind, or with an ounce of understanding or compassion, would even suggest segregating students by race at a university. Perhaps a history lesson on a civil war and a civil rights movement would be in order. The really sad thing is that many think they are being compassionate snd understanding, but what they are really doing is being patronizing, hypocritical and terribly unkind.

As far as those quacks who refuse to accept God is the ONLY one who can and will control the climate, and now these so called "celebrities" who feel they're bigger than God Almighty, we stopped watching ALL late night "comedy" shows when Jay Leno was kicked off the airwaves. Comedy died the night he was forced to leave TV. As I said, REAL comedy died the last night of Leno's show and so did good, belly laughs died with him, too. Sadly, these arrogant muckrakers are so full of themselves, as well as their producers and sponsors, they have no inkling as to what is ahead for the world, from their idiotic musings. Lucky, for us, we now get a FULL nights sleep, lol.
