Can’t stand to watch one more minute of hearings on TV? I get that.  Still, Wednesday is the day to set those feelings aside and tune in to FOX News’ coverage of the Horowitz Senate testimony.

IG Michael Horowitz has at last released his report on the FBI’s abuse of the FISA court to justify surveilling Trump's campaign in 2016 (and continuing their spying into 2017). His testimony under questioning from Republican Senators such as Lindsay Graham should be eye-opening. So my staff researchers have put together a “prep list” of choice commentaries and video for you to read and watch.

FEATURED STORY

Trump, Republicans flip the narrative

By Mike Huckabee

While the Democrats were devoting their full time to impeaching our evil racist, homophobic President, the Senate was confirming his latest (and ninth!) nominee to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Patrick Bumatay, who just happens to be an openly gay Filipino American.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/dec/10/patrick-bumatay-openly-gay-trump-nominee-confirmed/

Bumatay’s nomination was opposed by California Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris, and he was confirmed on a 53-40 party line vote, with 40 Democrats voting against him.  Sure, it sounds like these Democratic politicians are racist and homophobic.  But could there be some other reason?

Mike Davis, president of the Article III Project, explained, “The reason the Democrats and these left-wing groups think Patrick Bumatay is unqualified is because he is a conservative judicial nominee who happens to be a minority who doesn’t fall in line with liberal orthodoxy.”

So the best case scenario is that today’s Democratic leaders aren’t necessarily racists and homophobes, they’re just adamantly opposed to diversity of thought and allowing members of identity groups that they think they own to hold their own thoughts and opinions.  Yeah, that sounds a LOT better, doesn’t it?…

I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:

Time magazine has named 16-year-old environmental radical Greta Thunberg as their “Person of the Year,” which is hardly surprising when you read who the runners-up were. That liberal bubble Time’s editors live in must be so thick, I’m amazed they don’t suffocate in there.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (who was my guest on last week’s “Huckabee” on TBN: https://youtu.be/cwmZMZ_XQ9I ) announced that she will not participate in the next Democratic Presidential debate in Los Angeles on December 19th.  She’s still one poll away from qualifying under the DNC’s byzantine rules. She might be able to make that threshold if the qualifying polls weren’t chosen by voodoo and the deadline weren’t set for tomorrow for some reason (God created the universe in six days, but apparently, it takes the Democrats seven days to add one more podium to the stage.)

https://www.staradvertiser.com/2019/12/09/breaking-news/tulsi-gabbard-one-poll-short-of-qualifying-says-she-wont-attend-presidential-debate/

But Rep. Gabbard said there are many reasons for skipping it, even if she did qualify. She said, “I instead choose to spend that precious time directly meeting with and hearing from the people of New Hampshire and South Carolina.”  I think that’s a wise choice.  It will be much more productive that getting three minutes to speak amid a lot of repetitive Trump-bashing, squabbling and talking points.  And if she attends one townhall in each state, she’ll probably be seen by more people than will watch this debate.

Plus, by going to New Hampshire and South Carolina instead of Democrat-run L.A., she greatly reduces her odds of catching typhus.

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page is suing the FBI and DOJ for releasing her salacious text messages with Peter Strzok, the agent with whom she was reportedly having an affair.  She claims it was a breach of the Federal Privacy Act, and she suffered numerous damages, such as being exposed to mockery and harassment, diminished earnings capacity and the cost of therapy to deal with it.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/lisa-page-sues-fbi-doj-cost-of-therapy-after-salacious-text-messages-released

The lawsuit faces an uphill climb for a number of reasons, including the limitations on lawsuits against the federal government and her stunning claim that there was no public interest justification in releasing their text messages (as much of an eye-roller as the claim that their political bias didn’t affect the way they did their jobs).  Also, doesn’t everyone know that if you send personal messages on your employer’s cell phone, they aren’t private?  Wouldn’t you at least be expected to know that if you're a lawyer who works for the FBI?

I have some personal sympathy for Ms Page.  I’m sure it must be difficult to have your actual sins exposed for all the world to see.  But pardon me if I have more sympathy for people who’ve lost their jobs, homes, life savings and reputations because some partisan hacks in Washington abused their powers and tried to frame them as Russian agents.

Bible Verse of the Day (KJV)

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

- Hebrews 4:12

I have been very annoyed recently and think you are the one who can emphasize and bring this to peoples attention. I thought the constitution says freedom OF religion, not freedomFROM religion! I’m tired of people using this to stamp out all signs of religion and I am not particularly religious but this is just WRONG!!

Who named this operation “Crossfire Hurricane”, ? Traditionally the Bureau would have their MISSION in the label!! Would a hurricane prevent a swamp draining??? Whose crossfiring is it? There is meaning to it that has not been uncovered, and could have significance due to timing of the title in all the deception...please pass along asap!

It is mind blowing to hear the testimony of supposedly learned academia's finest and politicians that apparently have no problem repeatedly lying (I'm sorry, distorting the truth). They are so impressed with their own righteousness (pride) that the truth has apparently eluded them. A sad parade of Godless elitists that have lost touch with reality (other than their own). The father of lies was expelled from Heaven because of his pride. It didn't work out for him and it won't play well for this bunch of sleaze bags either.
