Sen. Rand Paul is calling for an FBI investigation and arrests into the radical leftists that threatened all of us leaving the White House last Thursday, and that he believes would have killed him and his wife if the police hadn’t come to their rescue.

Fatuous media figures tried to dismiss Paul’s concerns as overblown (easy for them; they weren’t there – apparently, they think if they cover for the wolves, they’ll be eaten last.) But as if to tragically prove that Paul was absolutely correct, Saturday in Portland, a man at a pro-Trump rally was shot in the chest and killed. The BLM radicals were caught on video cheering a woman who yelled, “I am not sad that a (bleeping) fascist died tonight!” She and all those who cheered murder should be sad, however, that they have lost their souls and allowed their sense of humanity to be dissolved by vicious political hatred that dehumanizes their opponents.

The horrific killing made the media look even worse than usual, if that’s possible. Those who have been denying that the violence existed looked like the fools they are. Those who tried to blame it on Trump looked both foolish and desperate. But perhaps the worst of all were those who subtly tried to imply that the victim had it coming by describing him as a member of a fringe “right-wing” group. Last week in Kenosha, two violent members of the left-wing fringe group BLM were shot dead while allegedly trying to assault Kyle Rittenhouse. Did they have it coming? If so, then why is Rittenhouse facing murder charges? He can at least argue that he acted in self-defense. He didn’t just target someone for cold-blooded murder, like the leftist thug in Portland.

President Trump has been holding off on sending federal troops to these cities because he doesn’t want to take the drastic step of invoking the Insurrection Act. But the useless mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, now has even more blood on his hands for allowing this madness to go on until innocent people are being murdered in his city’s streets just for expressing their political views. I hope the feds prosecute that as a federal hate crime to insure that the perpetrator faces the full force of the law, since I have zero faith that this will happen in Portland. Meanwhile, if an organized radical group operating across state lines to overthrow the government by murdering American citizens is not insurrection, then what is?

And yes, these are not “local grassroots protesters.”

They’re an organized and well-funded anti-American criminal/terrorist group. An FBI investigation might uncover who’s doing the organizing and the funding, and then the RICO Act could come into play.

President Trump is planning to visit Kenosha, Wisconsin, tomorrow, and the state’s Democrat Gov. Tony Evers is requesting that he not. In a letter, Evers wrote, "I am concerned your presence will only hinder our healing.” Yes, we’ve all seen the “healing” on our TV screens.

Evers is the latest in a growing line of Dem politicians, including the mayors of Seattle, Portland and Chicago, who would like to blame the out-of-control violence in their cities on Trump. They refuse his help, insisting he only makes things worse, then they proceed to make things 100 times worse all by themselves.

These arrogant know-nothings remind me of a story by the great humorist James Thurber. He once wrote of his aunt, a very headstrong woman who ran a large farm, who decided that she didn’t need any help fixing the broken milking machine; she could do it herself. An hour or so later, she had it dismantled and had no idea how to reassemble it, but she just kept making it worse and cursing and sweating until she finally screamed at her farmhands, “Why won’t somebody take this #!%& thing away from me?!!”

That’s the question these Democrat mayors and Governors should be asking. The voters should answer it for them by taking away their power over things they have no idea how to control.

Over the weekend, the CDC quietly (but I’ll bet not as quietly as they’d hoped) “updated” the death figures on the COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus. The media have been reporting with panic and alarm every new level, until now we’ve surpassed 180,000 deaths in the US (all of them somehow President Trump’s fault, of course, even the huge percentage who died after blue state Governors forced their nursing homes to take in coronavirus patients.)

But hold on, there’s a slight correction to that figure. It turns out there were far more comorbidities than we were led to believe. Out of 161,392 deaths in the CDC database at the time of the study, 94% died of more than one cause. In fact, these victims had an average of 2.6 other causes of death or conditions in addition to the virus, such as flu or pneumonia, respiratory disease, heart disease, diabetes or obesity.

Now, here’s the really shocking part: when you factor out all the deaths from multiple causes to discover just how lethal COVID-19 is by itself to otherwise healthy people, you find that only about 6% of the casualties were due to the virus alone. That’s about 9700 deaths. Last year’s seasonal flu killed over 3-1/2 times more people. You might recall that we didn’t shut down the economy and nail all the churches shut over that.

It’s looking increasingly as if the massive economic shutdown might have been a catastrophic mistake and that a more effective policy would have been encouraging basic safety measures for the majority while only shielding those who were at the greatest risk.

And as long as we’re on the subject of how everything we know about the Chinese virus is wrong (except that it really did come from China), the New York Times reports that potentially 90% of people who tested positive for it had such small amounts of the virus in their systems that they weren’t contagious and didn’t need to quarantine or do contact tracing. But they created a bottleneck that possibly kept serious cases from being identified.

So if all that overtesting is creating deadly delays, what is the New York Times’ solution? As Bronson Stocking at reports, it’s “more testing!”

Once again, there's another tragic story of a heroic police officer in St. Louis being shot in the head and murdered. This doesn’t appear to be politically-motivated, but I would be very surprised if the overall atmosphere of disrespect and hatred for police, the dehumanizing rhetoric aimed at them and the tolerance of violence against them didn’t play some part in it.

I saw a poll quoted over the weekend, claiming that suburban women heavily prefer Biden over Trump. I wonder if that’s accurate, or how recent it may be? I've always heard that the so-called “soccer mom” vote was primarily based on which candidate made them feel safest. I cannot imagine anyone thinking that’s the Democrats and Joe “I suddenly decided that rioting and assault are not altogether good things” Biden.

Kurt Schlichter has one of his typically blunt articles on a subject I’ve been addressing here for a long time, and that is how, in the identity grievance group pyramid that is the modern Democratic Party, women are now on the very bottom. Kurt says there’s a reason you’re not hearing any Democrats say, “Women’s lives matter.” He points out that the Party has a history of misogyny that’s just as strong as its history of racism, and in all the attacks on Kenosha police for the shooting of Jacob Blake, media and activists never mention that Blake was resisting arrest for violating a restraining order by an ex-girlfriend who’d accused him of sexual assault.

As Kurt points out, the left’s policy trifecta of defunding the police, prosecuting cops and banning private gun ownership are setting us up for a future where women who are threatened by sexual predators will have nobody to help them but their unarmed selves. If that makes you feel safer in the suburbs, then by all means, vote for Biden.

“If It Weren’t For Double Standards” Dept: The media accused President Trump of racism for making a criticism of Kamala Harris that was identical to the criticism she’d made of him two days before.

There’s a strong (and long overdue) trend for replacing China as the supplier of US goods.

Vietnam has been the major Asian beneficiary of the moving of supply sources out of China, but I’m glad to see that our ally Taiwan is second. However, for goods used by Americans (particularly life-and-death necessities such as medicines), how about moving those manufacturing jobs back here, where we can keep an eye on them?

Forces on the Left seeks to fundamentally change our nation by disregarding the principles upon which it was founded. Members of the media and liberal politicians seek to damage our economic, political, and educational systems for their gain. The Three Cs That Made America Great: Christianity, Capitalism, and the Constitution: Huckabee exposes the Left's plan to undermine the Christian values on which the nation was built

  • reveals how attacks on Christianity are part of the political agenda of Liberals
  • provides a clear understanding of capitalism and how free markets benefit all people
  • reveals how Liberals undermine capitalism with their socialistic policies
  • shows how the Constitution’s purpose to restrain government and protect individual liberty
  • unmask the efforts of the liberal Left to subvert the power and relevance of the Constitution
  • exposes the current corruption in government and culture
  • which undermines the principles on which the nation was founded

America faces a war of values that will determine its future and likely decide if it will continue as a great nation on the world stage. Mike Huckabee and Steve Feazel sounds a needed alarm to Christians and conservatives to answer the call to action and push back against the forces that desire to move America from its heritage and founding principles. It is time for God's people to take an active role in the political arena, not with violence, but with votes and voices that proclaim and defend the values that made our nation the brightest light of freedom the world has ever known.

This is absolutely unbelievable, but the full DC Court of Appeals ruled Monday against dismissing the case against Michael Flynn, sending it back to out-of-control partisan Judge Emmet Sullivan, who is refusing to end the trial even after the Department of Justice chose to drop the charges. I’m beginning to wonder if there will ever be an end to the Kafkaesque nightmare to which Flynn has been subjected by the criminal behavior of certain elements inside the Obama FBI and DOJ.

Sullivan was already overruled by a 2-1 panel of the court, but this victory allows him to keep persecuting a defendant whom even the prosecutors now admit did nothing wrong. Two of the judges issued a scathing dissent, writing, “By allowing the district court to scrutinize ‘the reasoning and motives’ of the Department of Justice…the majority ducks our obligation to correct judicial usurpations of executive power and leaves Flynn to twist in the wind while the district court pursues a prosecution without a prosecutor.”

I’ve long suspected that Sullivan’s real motivation has zero to do with justice and everything to do with dragging this out as long as possible, to inflict political damage on Trump up through the election, and to keep it going in hopes that Biden will be elected, the charges will be reinstated, and the real criminals will get away with it. There’s one way to insure that doesn’t happen, and that is to reelect Trump and put Republicans back in charge of the House and in a stronger majority in the Senate. Without a Senate majority, they can’t impeach a judge, no matter how much he richly deserves it.

Here’s something that would get wall-to-wall “SCANDAL!!!” coverage if Trump had done it: the radical Antifa/BLM thug who is suspected of murdering a Trump supporter in Portland was arrested in July for being involved in a riot where he was found to be carrying a knife and an illegally possessed loaded firearm. So why was he still walking around loose to murder people? Because just like with all the other “peaceful protesters” who’ve been arrested, the DA decided to let him go and not pursue any charges.

This is what cities across America are suffering, due to the elections of far-left, usually Soros-backed district attorneys whose idea of “justice reform” is not to prosecute criminals. Voila! The crime rate immediately drops! All you have to do is legalize crime!

But before these DA’s started simply releasing violent rioters, a number of prominent sports and entertainment figures and liberal politicians were donating to and promoting a fund to bail them out so they could keep on rioting and looting (although not in THEIR neighborhoods, Heaven forbid!) One of them was Kamala Harris. Thirteen members of Biden’s campaign staff also contributed to the fund to bail out participants in the riots that they’re now trying to blame on Trump.

If he's elected, Joe Biden had better not be too quick to destroy the fossil fuel industry. He’s going to need at least a little oil to keep the revolving doors on the jails spinning freely.

By Laura Ainsworth

Offhand, I can think of three “Cs” that are really bad for America: communism, corruption, and crime, all three of which are currently being excused and even promoted by the left. In fact, we talk a lot about those three “Cs” often, right here. But Gov. Huckabee has a great new book –- just out –- that’s written from the positive perspective we need more than ever now. Co-authored by Steve Feazel, it’s about the three “Cs” that made America GREAT and must be protected at all costs.

Do you know what they are? Here’s a clue: the title of the book is THE THREE Cs THAT MADE AMERICA GREAT: CHRISTIANITY, CAPITALISM, AND THE CONSTITUTION.

This is the right book at the right time, because America really is in a fight for its soul right now. All three “Cs” are under relentless attack. The book was written as a call to action for Christians and conservatives who look around and can’t believe what they see. This is not a time to be shocked into paralysis but to take an active role in the political arena, to push back against the forces that are trying to tear America away from its founding principles and its heritage. Our nation has been the brightest light of freedom the world has ever known, and it’s time to make that light shine again.

On his weekend TBN show, Gov. Huckabee was freshly inspired about what makes America great after watching Trump’s convention speech from the White House lawn. In his monologue, he talked about the new book as “a fact-filled reminder of the underpinnings of America and its origins,” saying the “leftist loons” who are educating our kids are responsible for their lack of knowledge, as these people are clueless about the role played by Judeo-Christian values in our launch as a new nation. This monologue focused on the first “C,” Christianity.

The Gov. said he’s aware that not all the founders were devout Christians, but stressed that even the less pious were aware “that liberty only lives when people self-govern, and that’s because of the moral code written onto the tablets of our hearts by our Creator.”

People who follow the word of God don’t need to look to an authoritarian government to worship, he explained, “because then you’re free from the bonds of self-centered behavior.”

The Gov. also offered some surprising history I wasn’t aware of, saying that today's secular Ivy League universities generally have their origins in schools devoted to religious instruction. For example, Harvard University was named for a young minister, John Harvard, who died at only 31. So far, a statue of him, seated and holding a Bible, still graces the campus, unless some numb-skulled anarchist has pulled it down.

And did you know Harvard students were once required to read Scripture twice daily and be ready to “give evidence of proficiency of their knowledge of the Bible”? Me, neither. An early school motto was “Truth for Christ and the Church.” Yale students, as well, were required “to live according to the rules of God’s word.” Princeton has a similar religious legacy; I wonder how many students can translate its Latin slogan, “Under the protection of God she flourishes.” How is THAT still on their flag? (I also wonder why they necessarily assume an institution of higher learning would use the pronoun “she” –- maybe it would prefer “xi.”)

Did you know that in 1782, the Continental Congress actually printed Bibles to give to inhabitants of the United States? They thought the values taught in the Bible were essential to the emerging nation. I thought I knew my American history pretty darn well, but this was news to me.

John Jay, our nation’s first Supreme Court justice and obviously one of the founders who WERE very devout, referred to America as “a Christian nation” and said we should “select and prefer Christians” as our leaders. Didn’t know that, either! (Of course, that didn’t and shouldn’t carry force of law; it was just his view.) Gov. Huckabee did say this book would make liberals’ heads explode; I think the part about John Jay might be where that happens.

Later in the Gov.’s show, co-author Steve Feazel sat for an interview. (He joked that Sarah Sanders wasn’t available to co-author his book with him, so he’d had to call Huckabee. He and the Gov. did have a mutual friend but had not met prior to this project.)

This is going to be the book to give your liberal friends --- especially the ones with kids in school --- who just have no clue about the founding of our nation, the “underpinnings,” as the Gov. put it.

Not one to just be “preaching to the choir,” I’d like to add something for the agnostics and even atheists who might be seeing this. You should read this book, too. Even those of us who aren’t as devout as John Jay and some of the other founders should not allow ourselves to be in denial about the role Judeo-Christian values played in the formation of America. That understanding of right and wrong is basic –- it’s written into our law and forms the basis of a society being able to live together, whether or not everyone goes to church or even believes in God. (Obviously, people are not able to live together peaceably in our cities right now, and this is because the traditional moral code is out the window.) Whether or not one believes that God literally gave us natural law or handed Moses the Ten Commandments on stone tablets, we have to treat the Constitution and our system of justice with that same level of reverence if our nation is to endure. The republic itself, our freedom, and the system on which it rests must be treated as sacred. We seem to be far away from that as a nation right now.

Excellent article by Dennis Prager on how the COVID-19 lockdowns have gone from being a mistake born of hysteria to being a crime that’s destroying businesses and people’s lives and livelihoods, for no other reason than to impose the irrational dictates of power-mad politicians.

On that same subject, a new British government study claims that for every three COVID-19 deaths in the UK, the lockdown caused another two deaths. From March 1 to May 1, they estimate that 16,000 excess deaths were caused by things such as people not being able to keep medical appointments for other problems.

And speaking of hysterical responses to the Chinese virus, here’s yet another study, this time from Belgium, showing that low-dosage Hydroxychloroquine therapy significantly reduced mortality of COVID-19 patients.

Tuesday, despite Wisconsin’s Democratic Governor urging him to stay away so as not to interfere with the “healing,” President Trump visited riot-torn Kenosha. He stated the obvious truth that nobody’s supposed to say: ““Kenosha’s been ravaged by anti-police and anti-American riots. These are not acts of peaceful protest, but really domestic terror.”

Trump announced $1 million in federal funding to local law enforcement, $4 million to help small Kenosha businesses rebuild and $42 million to “support public safety” statewide. As for the “defund police” movement, Trump said there are some “bad apples” who should be taken care of through the system, but he wants “to increase police funding substantially.”

Click the link to see a photo that’s worth at least a thousand words. If I were going to write those words, they would describe how that rubble is not the aftermath of a “peaceful protest,” and how the people waiting to speak to Trump don’t look as if they think his presence is their community’s biggest problem.

It was awfully sporting of a Democratic data and analytics firm to tell us in advance how the Democrats plan to steal the Presidential election.

According to them, Trump may “appear” to have won on Election night, even by a landslide. But that will just be a “red mirage,” because so many Democrats will vote by mail that days later, the race will shift to Biden.

That’s the innocent-sounding version. Those of a more suspicious nature might read it as “We’ll find out on Election night how many bogus mail-in ballots we’ll need to manufacture to overcome Trump’s lead. Then if anyone questions those ballots, we’ll accuse the Republicans of trying to ‘suppress the minority vote” and send our BLM/Antifa shock troops out to burn down cities unless Trump concedes and hands over the White House.”

Again, if you think this can’t happen, I’ll refer to you this article that just appeared in the New York Post, in which a Dem operative described how easy it is to steal elections and how he’s been rigging them in the New Jersey area for years.

I hope the RNC is making plans to fight this, since it’s been reported that the Democrats have already lined up at least 600 lawyers to challenge the vote. This could be an open war, so our side had better be prepared.

Of course, the best way to insure this doesn’t happen is to vote in massive numbers, far beyond the potential “margin of fraud.” Go vote in person (not by mail-in ballots that can be intercepted) and take everyone who would vote GOP with you.

I must be getting old: I remember when people won elections by espousing policies that the majority of people agreed with. I even recall when one Democratic Presidential candidate called it appalling and un-American to refuse to accept the results of a Presidential election – before she went on to spend the next four years refusing to accept the results of the Presidential election.

According to Joe Biden, or whoever is putting words on his prompter these days, President Trump is to blame for fomenting all the violence in cities that have been run 100% by Democrats since Joe Biden was in knee pants. This statement isn’t so much a political argument as it is an IQ test. After all, as this column reminds us, the Democrats completely ignored all the riots (sorry: “peaceful protests”) throughout their convention. If they really believed Trump was responsible for them, wouldn’t they have hammered him for that every night? They certainly blamed him for everything else, from the Chinese virus to the heartbreak of psoriasis.

So just to remind us who has really been “resisting” the peaceful transfer of power since 2016, here’s a compilation video of top leftwing politicians and media figures urging political violence and civil unrest in the streets. (Warning: contains disturbing violent imagery that even CNN would have a hard time describing as “mostly peaceful.)

And just to hammer home what’s actually happening and who’s behind it, here’s Sen. Rand Paul making it crystal clear.

Every year, Lake Superior State University issues a list of annoying or overused words and phrases that should be banned from the language. I have a nominee for 2020: “without evidence.”

This has rapidly become such a cliché in leftist media circles that the people using it no longer even stop to consider if what they’re applying it to is backed by evidence or not. The most recent example is a tweet from NPR (National Public Radio), stating that President Trump had claimed “without evidence” that it appears Kyle Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense when he shot three “protesters” in Kenosha.

I don’t care where you stand on whether Rittenhouse fired in self-defense or not. But there is abundant video evidence that he was being attacked. To claim that there is no evidence to back up the self-defense argument is just lying, or an assertion “without honesty.”

This is your tax dollars at work via National Public Radio, which claims, without evidence, to be a legitimate news source.

Remember how President Trump took so much heat for saying that if you remove all the Confederate monuments, the “protesters” would just move on to demanding that monuments to Washington, Jefferson and other Founders be torn down? That crazy bad orange man! Well, he was right, of course, and he might not even have realized how right he was.

Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser appointed a committee to look into “problematic” monuments in DC, and that confederacy of dunces has issued its report. Surprise! They recommend removing, relocating or “contextualizing” the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, statues of Ben Franklin, Andrew Jackson and other figures, and more.

These are the same people who went ballistic at Melania Trump for disrespecting American history by allegedly removing a couple of cherry trees from the Rose Garden that were never there to begin with. But they want to tear down the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial because Washington should “only honor those individuals who exemplified those values such as equity, opportunity and diversity that DC residents hold dear.” Yep, none of those DC residents got anything from the people who won the American Revolution and wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Remember this the next time Democrats argue that DC should be made a state and granted two Senators. The place seems incapable even of electing a mayor who isn’t a complete embarrassment.

What have I been saying for years about the brave “social justice warriors” who think they’ve so tough because they hit elderly people from behind, shove around kids and attack cops who’ve been ordered not to retaliate? They that are basically spoiled brat cowards who, if they ever started being held responsible for their bad behavior, would collapse like a garage sale card table.

Allow me to introduce you to Exhibit A: Alleged Antifa terrorist and self-proclaimed “commander” Matthew Banta, 23, who was apprehended on his way to a “peaceful protest” with a flamethrower, fireworks, and smoke grenades. And what did the "commander" do when the cops arrested him?

He “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.”

Kudos to the Happy Camper restaurant in Chicago for giving us all a demonstration of the correct way to deal with employees who insist on imposing their political beliefs on customers in a place of business. Too bad they aren’t running all the professional sports leagues.

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced the moderators of three Trump-Biden debates and one Pence-Harris debate. They’re pretty much what you’d expect: mostly left-leaning, anti-Trump reporters, but the one for the first debate on September 29th was a surprise: Fox News’ Chris Wallace.

Wallace is not a Trump fan, so it’s not as if Trump will have even one debate where the moderator leans toward him. But he has already subjected himself to a tough interview by Wallace, while Biden has been hiding out from him for weeks. At least one debate might actually feature some tough questions for Biden, thanks to Wallace. Biden can run, but he can’t hide forever. Well, that’s not exactly true. I don’t think he can run anymore.

Twitter is constantly locking conservatives’ accounts for “violations of service” or “spreading disinformation” or “fomenting violence,” all of which are euphemisms for “saying things leftists disagree with.” The social media company has been playing with fire for a while, considering that it is only protected from lawsuits because it’s supposed to be a neutral platform, not a “publisher” that exercises control over what gets posted. The constant pushing of the envelope of what constitutes a “neutral violation of terms of service” is making that protection look less defensible every day.

Now, Twitter might have finally picked on the wrong guy. L. Lin Wood is the attorney who brought major TV networks and newspapers to heel for defaming Richard Jewell, and who forced CNN and the Washington Post to their knees after they defamed Nick Sandmann. He’s now representing Kyle Rittenhouse. Twitter decided to lock his account for “glorifying violence” by sending a message that Rittenhouse is innocent and acted in self-defense. And in doing that, Twitter may have poked a bear they’ll wish they’d left alone.

As is often the case when they’re caught red-handed, Twitter reinstated Wood’s account within hours, chalking it up to the account being “incorrectly actioned.” That didn’t satisfy Wood. The furious attorney told Fox News, “I’m going to take (Twitter CEO) Jack Dorsey’s **s down. He has been abusing the First Amendment of this country for his own agenda.” Wood says he’s collecting a “mountain of evidence” to sue Twitter for discriminating against users based on political speech. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving company, although there are plenty of others in Silicon Valley if he’d like to expand that lawsuit.

Good round-up of commentary on Nancy Pelosi’s “let them eat shampoo” scandal, including examples of how the media are trying to brush it off as nothing, rather than as the giant kick in the teeth to working people that it is.

I especially love the juxtapositioning of the two photos of Nancy. One shows her in the House, as part of her own tweet lecturing, “No one is above the law, Mr. President,” right next to a photo of her flouting the law to get her hair done without wearing a mask. Correction: Nobody who isn’t a powerful Democrat is above the law.

Remember that idiotic new book about how looting is good? (It’s redistributing wealth! It enables people to get things they need for free! And insurance companies pay for it, so it doesn’t cost anyone anything – except that many policies don’t cover looting, and those that do will have to raise everyone’s rates to cover what the looters stole.) The publisher expects readers to fork over nearly $26 for that drivel.

Well, Spectator columnist Cockburn is certain that neither the author nor the publisher would want to perpetuate the white supremacist concept of capitalism and intellectual property rights, so he’s written to the publishers to ask permission to post an illegal PDF scan of the book online for free download, as a form of “virtual looting.” He hasn’t heard back yet, but I’m sure there would be no objections. After all, how else would people be able to get the book other than stealing it?

I should warn you, though: even if you read it for free, you’ll still demand your wasted time back.

Here are the latest developments in “Blow-Dry Gate,” in which House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was caught on security video in a San Francisco salon, getting her hair done while not wearing a mask, two things that Democrats like her constantly tell the rest of us that we can’t do. Having been caught dead to rights exhibiting a massive amount of white liberal privilege, the head House hypocrite claimed that she was “set-up” and insisted that the salon owed her an apology.

I don’t see that happening. In fact, it was such a giant bag of hooey that even CNN’s Don Lemon couldn’t swallow it.

But if it makes Pelosi feel better, the salon owner has already announced that she’ll probably have to close the business she’s struggled to build for 12 years because of the draconian shutdown rules of Gov. Gavin Newsom (remember when the shutdown was just “two weeks to flatten the curve,” about four months ago?) Also because leftist policies have already destroyed her once-thriving neighborhood and turned it into an open-air toilet for homeless people. Also, she’s getting vicious attacks on Yelp and death threats from kind, tolerant liberals who want to murder anyone who interferes in any way with their insane mania for power.

Bryan Preston has a good recap of this story, along with some of the many other recent examples of Democrat politicians availing themselves of services that they deny to everyone else. It’s funny how they try to convince us that people who are hauling around prop guillotines are “peaceful protesters,” considering that “let them eat cake” attitude of theirs is precisely what set off the original French Revolution.

Preston thinks this story could be a tipping point, the “blow-dry heard ‘round the world.” I hope so, but I’m not rooting for anyone to get their hair bobbed with a guillotine. Just going to the polls and voting to throw every one of these Democrat would-be French aristocrats out of office would be solution enough.

Here’s some reassuring proof that while the forces of far-left anti-Americanism seem to be moving ever forward, they can be sent scurrying back to their holes if enough people are paying attention and stand up to say, “NO!”

I reported yesterday that a committee of boneheads appointed by Washington, DC, Mayor Murial Bowswer had issued a report suggesting that a number of beloved historic monuments, including the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial, be removed, relocated or “differently contextualized” (i.e., put up signs telling visitors how evil those Founders really were) because they don’t reflect the values of current DC residents (those people of high moral standards who think burning a historic church is “peaceful protest.”)

Well, it didn’t take long for most Americans to suggest that these whining leftist ingrates could go sit on the Washington Monument. President Trump also said their removal would never happen on his watch and Bowser ought to be ashamed for even suggesting it.

And within 24 hours, just like magic, the webpage was rewritten to remove the wording around “removing” or “relocating” the monuments, and the media went to work trying to convince us that they never said that at all. Alas for them, the Internet is forever.

I assume that if you didn’t just arrive on Earth from the planet Wango, you know what’s been happening over the past few months: lawless, far-left, anti-American mobs from groups like Antifa and BLM have been rioting, burning, looting and assaulting police and civilians in cities and states that have been run solely by Democrats for decades. President Trump has repeatedly offered to send help to restore law and order, but the Democrat politicians would rather spurn Trump than keep their own cities from being burned down. The Democrats spent months denying these were anything but “peaceful protests,” then ignored them completely throughout their convention. It was only when they saw their poll standings starting to crater that they pulled Joe Biden from his basement and loaded up his Teleprompter with some vacuous words about rioting and violence being bad.

Well, that didn’t seem to fool anybody, so now they’re trying the full Orwell: using their PR mouthpieces in the media to try to convince us that nothing we’ve seen or heard with our own ears and eyes is true. No, those rioters weren’t leftists: they were undercover right-wing Trump supporters, trying to stir up unrest so that Trump can run as a law-and-order candidate.

I know you think I’m just being a partisan and trying to write a cartoonishly silly misrepresentation of our fine professional journalist class, but no: they’re actually taking a tinkle on our boots and trying to convince us it’s a rainstorm.

At this MUST-READ link, the Bookworm Room blog takes a deep dive into a stunningly dishonest article by former CNN producer and WaPo writer Frida Ghitis that attempts to rewrite all the recent history we’ve just lived through and convince us not to believe our lyin’ eyes.

Sadly, it’s entirely possible that this kind of transparent gaslighting will actually work on some people (I expect to see Ghitis quoted in social media comments any time now.) So it might be a good idea to bookmark this article and share it with all your friends. Think of it as a form of inoculation against the leftist virus of the mind.

I can’t say this more strongly, and have been saying it for a while now --- that while it’s more important than ever to vote in this election, it’s just as important to vote IN PERSON. There are just too many things that can happen to a mail-in ballot, and it’s no exaggeration to say the Democrats are probably thinking up new ones every day. I am not kidding; they have already determined that Biden is going to “win” this election, or else.

Radio host Vince Coglianese was on Tucker Carlson’s show Thursday night to emphasize the need to have the polls open in every state and for everyone to vote in person. “If Americans can’t have confidence in their election system,” he said, “the whole thing falls apart. We have such low trust in our institutions today --- at all levels: government, media, everywhere --- if you lose faith in your election, that’s how you become Third World.”

Certain states are already looking very much like the Third World. And now, state governors are shutting down polls across the country, even though Dr. Fauci and other experts have said in-person voting is safe for all but the most physically fragile and at-risk people. So, how do we make sure the polls will be open? Congress can use its “compulsory capabilities,” Coglianese said, by threatening loss of funding and forcing states to allow voters to cast their ballots in person.

"We need a lot of confidence in this election result,” he said, “and we need it quickly.” He says the upcoming election is certain to be “a dumpster fire.”

One challenge I see, though, with getting Congress involved is that it's still run by Democrats, in particular the freshly-coiffed Nancy Pelosi, and they WANT as many mail-in ballots cast as possible. A mail-in election is their fever dream, as it’s much easier to manipulate and use a questionable result to cause chaos, which they dearly want. I’d like to hear from Republicans in Congress exactly how they’re going to make in-person voting easy and safe in every state, especially every state that could conceivably be a “swing” state. And it has to happen fast!

I’ve said it before: Republicans have got to be ready for ANYTHING on Election Day. It’s not as if we haven’t been warned by the Democrats, who aren’t known for subtlety. Madame Defarge herself (Hillary) has said that under no circumstances should Biden concede. She thinks the election will “drag out” until “eventually he will win” if they “don’t give an inch.” How exactly will this happen? Well, she doesn’t say, but we already know: they’ll just keep counting ballots and counting and counting and counting them until he's ahead, and then they’ll stop counting. The only thing that really “counts” is the result.

An estimated 80 million people are said to be casting their ballots by mail this year! That’s a lot of votes to count, and mis-count, and lose, and change, and fill out for dead people.

Yesterday, we brought you the WASHINGTON POST op-ed that warned of extreme violence in the case of every election scenario except that of Biden winning in a landslide. As David Harris, Jr., points out here, that didn’t even make sense, as it warned of violence coming from the Trump side. Even if Trump won. It was total fiction, and totally irresponsible.

Besides, who are the people going around rioting and looting? Sorry, they’re not Trump voters; they’re Biden voters. They’re hard leftists. And speaking of hard leftists, did you know that Washington and Lee University in Virginia, which costs $74,000 per year and is almost certainly contemplating a name change, is offering a first-year writing seminar this fall called “How To Overthrow The State”? It’s real, taught by Robert Matt Gildner.

The description says, “This course places each student at the head of a popular revolutionary movement aiming to overthrow a sitting government and forge a better society...Students participating in a variety of writing exercises, such as producing a Manifesto.”

"How will you attain power?” the synopsis asks. “How will you communicate with the masses? How will you deal with the past?” One course requirement is “writing a persuasive essay on REWRITING HISTORY AND CONFRONTING MEMORY” (emphasis mine).

The school has put out a statement saying that this is a writing seminar, to work on, you know, writing, not overthrowing the government. Oh, well, I feel much better now. Just off the top of your head, do you think the instructor and the students in this class will be Trump supporters, or Biden supporters who are loving the fantasy of overthrowing the current government?

Tucker Carlson also brought up a report in the BOSTON GLOBE that John Podesta, Hillary’s former campaign manager, is planning for the likelihood that Biden won’t concede and the military –- I am not kidding –- will have to be engaged to make sure he’s made President. They’ve already assembled another kind of “army” --- regiments of lawyers, reportedly 600 at this point. As I said, be ready for anything.

Vince Coglianese outlined Podesta's "civil war" scenario: Biden loses the electoral vote but still refuses to concede; he challenges the results of the Electoral College and tries to manipulate the actual electors; and the three West Coast states, California, Washington and Oregon, threaten to secede from the Union if Trump is re-inaugurated; then they wait for the military to get involved.

This piece in PJ Media about the Podesta "civil war" scenario is a must-read.

My immediate thought is that if Biden loses but California, Washington and Oregon want to secede and let him be their President, let ‘em go. Buh-bye, and don’t let the Rockies hit you on the way out! Those of us who want to live in a recognizable American republic will stay right here rather than let you destroy it.

Remember, Joe Biden can’t debate President Trump because Trump is a lying liar who lies. Now, enjoy this hilarious split screen video of Joe Biden repeatedly vowing to ban fracking, then denying that he plans to ban fracking, “no matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.” I don’t think the “word” lie means what Democrats think it means.

And while we’re on the subject, I wonder if that “real-time fact-check” of “lying liar” Trump that Biden may insist on before he’ll debate will also correct such doozies of Biden’s as his claim that a black guy invented the light bulb.

Finally, for those who deny that Biden is just saying whatever they put on his Teleprompter, here he is accidentally reading the title of his talking points out loud.

This is a long and complicated article about the science of a test used by the CDC to determine whether Americans are infected with the COVID-19 (Chinese) virus.

Cutting through all the medical details, there are two important takeaways:

1. Even the New York Times admits that the test overamplifies the presence of the virus so much that up to 90% of positive test results might actually have been negative.

2. “Given that most labs in the U.S are running samples through 40 amplification cycles and the few that aren’t are amplifying them 37 times, as hard as it is to believe, it’s very possible that, for all intents and purposes, no one in America who tested positive but didn’t have symptoms was really infected.”

I’m not going to devote a lot of time to the scuzzy claim by the Atlantic magazine that President Trump made disparaging remarks about dead World War I heroes because it reeks of the kind of election season, low-blow, “anonymous sources” hit job that I expect to pop up almost every day between now and November. As Stephen Kruiser points out, some of the “facts” in the story are already being disproven by readily-available records, and my own daughter Sarah, who was along on the trip, says it never happened, which is good enough for me.

The Atlantic is typical of mainstream media sources that have long ago flushed away their claim on any journalistic integrity. When the boy who cries wolf cries, “Wolf!” for the 10,000th time, he may finally be telling the truth, but I'm not inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Besides, what is the point of this story? To make patriotic Americans believe that Trump, who has strongly backed the military, increased military funding and worked to fix the broken VA system, really doesn’t respect the military, so they will vote instead for the people who back kneeling during the National Anthem, burning the flag and tearing down memorials to our “fascist” war veterans?

Just so you don’t think this is partisan, I’m also not talking about a Gateway Pundit story about Joe Biden and a Secret Service agent’s wife. Partisanship would be if I ignored that story and gave wall-to-wall coverage to the ridiculous Trump allegations. You know, like…most of the media this morning.

In yet another attempt to extort Americans into giving the left power, former respected newspaper the Washington Post published the results of a “war gamed” election that claims the only result that doesn’t end with violence in the streets is a Biden landslide. Well, then, we’d all better be prepared to deal with the people who try violence in the streets, because that’s not going to happen.

It’s stunning the utter lack of self-awareness displayed by these leftist bubble dwellers. They think that Trump will refuse to leave office and spark violence in the streets because they assume that he’s a lawless autocratic dictator – something they’ve been claiming for four years now, (pardon me for the cliché) “WITHOUT EVIDENCE.” Meanwhile, all the actual violence in the streets is coming from their side, and they’re trying to blame Trump for it (“Look what he made us do!”)

And how do they know what Trump would do if he lost? Well, they had some prominent “Republicans” play the parts of Trump and his people – all of them TDS-addled Never Trumpers, including the chief Trump-hating head case, Bill Kristol. Asking Kristol what Trump is really like would be like asking a cat to give you an objective assessment of what dogs are like.

One writer summed up this lengthy article quite succinctly with a single, four-letter acronym: “GIGO” (“Garbage in, garbage out.”)

The Babylon Bee created a chart to help Americans tell which activities spread the coronavirus and which don’t. For instance, UNSAFE: Shopping at small businesses. SAFE: Looting small businesses.

Here are some headlines that should have led the news on Friday:

In August, the US economy created 1.4 million new jobs and unemployment took a steep 2% drop to 8.4%, the first time it’s fallen below 10% since the economy was shut down to deal with the Chinese virus.

The White House announced a new peace agreement between Serbia and Kosovo that not only normalizes relations between those two, it includes Kosovo recognizing Israel and Serbia moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, something that would have been unthinkable a few years ago, until President Trump demonstrated what real leadership and keeping our promises looked like.

Ric Grenell held a press briefing on the deal and was so appalled by the dumb, politically-oriented questions that he laid into the reporters for their youth and ignorance and said he wasn’t sure they could even find Serbia and Kosovo on a map. It was epic.

Also, President Trump is back to his pre-coronavirus approval rating of 52%.

And yet, none of those major stories were what the media were talking about (well, they talked about them a little, because they had to try to find ways to convince us that massive job creation is a bad thing, like this headline from Yahoo: “Why 1.4 million jobs created in August really isn't great news.”)

No, the really important, everything-else-takes-a-back-seat story was a claim that during a trip to Europe two years ago, President Trump made disparaging remarks about the World War I soldiers in a cemetery in France. This came from the Atlantic, a magazine majority-owned by a Biden megadonor (coincidentally, the Biden campaign had an ad using it already produced within hours, almost as if there were some sort of collusion or something), and was based on four alleged anonymous sources.

President Trump immediately denounced it as offensive fake news, and already, 10 people who were on the trip and with him at the time, including my own daughter Sarah and my former campaign aide Hogan Gidley, have denounced it as total garbage. Records also disproved the article’s false claim that Trump’s trip to the cemetery wasn’t really canceled due to bad weather. Even John Bolton, who was there, admitted that he’d heard Trump say no such thing. He told Fox News’ John Roberts that if Trump had said that, there would have been an entire chapter about it in his book.

So we’re supposed to believe an outrageous, totally out-of-character quote based on anonymous sources that are contradicted by multiple on-the-record sources – all from the same media that have proven over and over again (the “very fine people” hoax, the “all immigrants are animals” lie, etc.) that they can’t even get a quote from Trump right when he says it on videotape.

And that pile of bull manure was considered the most important news from Friday, not the peace agreement that will help keep our young people alive or the great jobs news. And the media wonder why Trump calls them “the enemy of the people.”

Meanwhile, on the Democrat side, Joe Biden once again demonstrated his unfitness for the office of President by declaring that “if true,” this disqualifies Trump from being Commander-in-Chief. This has become a pattern for Biden: taking something widely discredited, waving it around as if it's an unassailable fact, and using it to declare someone guilty. I would say that his utter disregard for due process and finding out whether an accusation is true before punishing someone disqualifies him for the job of Chief Executive of the nation with a sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution.

This is hardly the first time he’s done this. Remember during the Convention, when the press was giving him tongue baths for actually getting all the way through his speech without calling anyone a dog-faced pony soldier? Scott Adams posted a much-talked-about rant blasting Biden for claiming that he decided to run when he heard Trump say there were “very fine people” among the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. Not only did Trump never say that, but it’s been widely debunked, even by liberal “fact-checkers.” It’s a scurrilous lie designed purely to slander the President and sow racial distrust, and yet Joe Biden openly and deliberately repeated it, and even cited it as the inspiration for his campaign. He is literally running on a scurrilous lie.

And all while trying to make the case that we should vote for him to restore "decency" to the White House.

I tried yesterday to do what Democrats claim they do and “take the high road.” I had a sleazy accusation against Joe Biden, and I chose not to give details about it. This is my standard operating procedure: I have long defended the presumption of innocence for people on both sides of the aisle, even when that was a very unpopular thing to do. But I feel that if "accusation=guilt" is the standard that Biden himself is going to apply to his opponent, then he should have to live by it, too. So here's that story, just FYI.

And a few reminders that, unlike the claim that Trump insulted our war dead, this is hardly out of character for Joe “Mr. Decency” Biden.

Three cheers for the group of black clergy who have joined together to stand up against the NBA and major corporations for showering money on BLM (an openly anti-American, anti-family, pro-Marxist group that as they say, has “"possibly [set] back racial relations for decades") while they remain silent on Chinese human rights abuses and profit off Chinese slave labor.

In a letter to the CEO of Nike, the Conservative Clergy of Color called on Nike to cut ties with BLM and China, writing, "You have been happy to play into the hands of anarchists at home and ignore slavery abroad. As leaders in the church, we can abide neither." While acknowledging that some BLM supporters have legitimate concerns, they said the group itself is a violent, radical organization that’s sowing the flames of discord and encouraging the looting of small businesses that are the backbone of our country.

I am proud to stand with these black church leaders as they bravely remind us that simply because an organization adopts an undeniable truth like “black lives matter” for its name, that doesn’t mean it is an unassailable fount of truth that can’t be challenged. To point out the ugly truth about the people behind “Black Lives Matter” does not mean you don’t believe black lives matter, and it’s great to see black church leaders standing up to them and their big media and corporate bodyguards and speaking truth to power.

It appears that not everyone in Nancy Pelosi’s neglected home district agrees with her that she’s owed an apology for being caught breaking the rules that she imposes on everyone else. A large group of them who have been blocked from going to hair salons just made that clear.

Here’s an excerpt that I bet makes you want to read the entire story: “’Protesters have gathered in front of Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home and are stringing up curlers and blow dryers on a tree after a video surfaced of Pelosi getting her hair done indoors/maskless at a SF salon…’ Video shared by the reporter shows women hanging hair dryers and an American flag from a tree on the property and calling it the ‘Freedom Tree.’”

This could mark the first time that the Tree of Freedom has been watered with the herbal rinse of a tyrant.

If you wonder why I was one of the few people in 2016 who correctly and confidently predicted Trump’s win weeks in advance, one reason is that I didn’t take the polls at face value. I looked into the internals and compared the sample of Democrats to Republicans to the actual registration numbers. Most of the pro-Hillary polls were wildly oversampling Democrats.

As you can see at the link, not much has changed in this cycle. So don’t let the polls showing Biden in the lead discourage you; that’s exactly what they’re designed to do. But don’t let the idea that they’re phony make you complacent. We’ll need a landslide win to overcome the already-admitted margin of fraud. And vote in person, not by mail: do not trust whoever might handle your ballot between you and its destination to get it there and in its original form.

Remember, no matter what the Democrats say, if it’s safe to attend a riot, it’s safe to go to the polls.

Great newsletter. This has definitely been a week of news, & the best it yet to come!
I read where they're going after Tucker Carlson again to remove him from FOX! I enjoy his show. Also, this Atlantic story added fuel to the dem's campfire. I also listened to Jennifer Griffins reporting & was surprised, but again unnamed sources. This is another attack & another nail aimed at the President.
How can anyone watch the news, when it's totally disturbing & ongoing violence & attacks. I do get a pit in my stomach because I can't believe this is my country. The news keeps running Blake in the hospital & how much pain he's in. I'm sure he is, but God forgive me, I can't sympathize. What about all the pain of loss of life & property burned, people who have no shelter, food, medication, etc.
Also, I enjoyed your show last night. Missed it on Sat.

The polls were way off in the last election and I read an article that they poll more Democrats than Republicans. This seems a purposeful manipulation of data in an attempt to influence voters. Do you think this happens and if so why do Trump supporters report this data? Can we find honest polling?

There is no doubt that Judeo/Christianity is the backbone of the start of our nation. Even if non-believers do not accept the Ten Commandments, it is obvious that they are a basic blue print for people to live together is peace. There can be no prosperity without peace. The other major religions of the world express similar rules in their doctrine.

In the Old Testament there are repeated words saying the the people and leaders did not do that which was pleasing to God. The Bible goes on to say, bad things happened.

How can these “reporters” live with themselves? On some level they must know what they are doing. Yes, the President can be boorish, and he is a womanizer. But at least no women have suggested that he forced his attention on them. If this alone was enough to keep a person out of the Presidency we would have had very few of the ones we have elected. That does not mean I condone such moral failing but it’s just a statement of fact.

Actions are what is important in running a country. By any measure, for the most part Mr. Trump’s actions have been very beneficial to the common people as well as the elite.

Yes, if Trump is re-elected there will be rioting. I expect there will be rioting either way. There is a certain element that is now justifying looting and destruction. Why would that stop? They are enjoying it too much. If the Dems prevail, may God forgive us for our stupidity and moral decay.

    Making Dems pay for violence:
    o sue Antifa, BLM
    o Cut funding
    o Cut grants
    o Hold mayors accountable?
    o Name names
