June 28, 2020

By Mike Huckabee

Welcome to Huckabee and our first show since the Wuhan Virus took hold that we’ve had a studio audience, albeit a limited and socially distanced one. But I’m so glad we’re back in our theater in Hendersonville just outside of Nashville and even more glad to have audience back in the seats. Audience we missed you! Keith and Tre didn’t always laugh at my bad jokes, so I’m counting on you guys! Tickets are free, but by reservation at

Have you heard the term “law and order” lately? If not, you’ve perhaps been held hostage by the nutjobs in Seattle who took over 6 city blocks and declared they were an autonomous country called CHAZ and then re-named themselves CHOP. Not very organized if they couldn’t even stick with a name for two whole weeks! Before I get to an explanation of what law and order really mean, can I just tell you that the nonsense of a mob taking over a big chunk of a city and having a leftist lunatic mayor describe it as a festival like a potluck gathering or the “summer of love” should never have been allowed. Why the people of Seattle or any American city tolerate such incompetence in their elected officials is beyond me. If these anarchists declared they were autonomous, then the city should have simply turned off the electricity, water, sewer, gas, phone, cable tv, and internet and electronically blocked cell signals in or out of that area. No deliveries of any kind allowed in. If they are really autonomous, they should be able to supply their own utilities, infrastructure, commerce, and food production. If not, they are about as independent as my 5-year-old grandson when he announces he’s going to leave home. But not until he gets dinner, has a story read to him and gets tucked in for a night’s sleep.

Clearly Seattle is missing some law and order. But those aren’t just words. Law means we agree as citizens that we will establish through our elected representatives a social contract to define what is proper and acceptable behavior. We create laws that prohibit murder, theft, rape, armed robbery, and burglary, but also restrict the use of drugs or alcohol, set limits on the speed we can drive, and determine when kids have to be in school. Law is what we determine to be the reasonable standards of our community that we should be expected to live by. It’s like rules we learned on the school playground, but for adults—or at least it’s supposed to be for adults.

Order means that we actually follow those laws and we establish consequences upon those who refuse. There can be no order without law—one can only be held accountable when one knows the expectation. And there can be no law that doesn’t insist on order or the compliance of the people to accept the rules as a condition of living with personal liberty. Order comes with the protection afforded to those who voluntarily live their lives respectful of the rights and liberties of others. Without law—it’s every man for himself. It’s doing whatever feels good, even if it’s destructive to other people or their property. And without order through the enforcement of law, which is forced compliance to those standards, there is no point in even having law. Without those 2 foundations, it’s only a matter of time before there is a collapse of any semblance of government and a revolution is underway.

If a candidate says he’s for law and order, the test is simple: Does he or she believe that we should enforce the agreed upon law? Do we have laws that equally apply to all and are evenly enforced upon all? If not, there will be no order, just chaos, because we didn’t really believe the laws we created.

A civilization cannot survive without law…and order. We all can’t make our own laws or rules, but once made, we must agree to abide by them or else suffer the consequences. When we fail to have either, we are living by the law of the jungle. Might makes right. The loudest voices rule. But the people and their freedoms are crushed. And that’s why we must have LAW and ORDER! Or we lose our neighborhoods, then our communities, then our cities, then our states, and then our country.

Great news: the First Amendment is still in effect, at least in some courtrooms. Friday, a federal judge issued an injunction blocking New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio from enforcing restrictions on outdoor and indoor gatherings of religious groups that are stricter than those on businesses and other types of gatherings. They'd even put tighter restrictions on religious groups than on businesses and gatherings that were classified as “non-essential,” which ranked religious expression as lower than “non-essential.”

It’s a great victory for religious liberty but what makes it extra sweet is that the judge based his ruling partly on the blatantly biased way that those two Democrats treated the recent street protests over George Floyd and the police.

Judge Gary Sharpe pointed out that Cuomo and DeBlasio not only allowed but endorsed and participated in protests that violated their own restrictions on large gatherings while harshly enforcing those restrictions on religious groups (DeBlasio even spoke at one – with no mask! – at the same time that he was threatening to arrest Jews who gathered in groups of more than ten to worship.) That denied churches, synagogues, and other religious groups equal protection under the law.

Some legal experts noted that what they were also doing was establishing an unconstitutional state religion: the religion of secular leftism, which is allowed to flout the rules because the government deems its mission and message to be so much more important than those of traditional religions.

So now that we have an official ruling that secular leftism is a religion, I’m sure the leftists will agree with me that it has to be kicked out of public schools immediately.

Er…about that rampaging “Biden Fever” that the polls claim American voters are feeling… What they’re not putting into any headlines is the fact that in last Tuesday’s primaries, Biden won less than 68% in New York and just over 57% in Kentucky. The rest went to candidates who are no longer in the race, such as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. That means that between 32% and 42% of Democrats couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Biden, even though he was the only practical choice. He’s already locked up the nomination and nobody is even running against him.

I don’t think Trump is going to let him run unopposed.

Robert Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET) and America’s first black billionaire, has a message for all the virtue-signaling white liberals who are making a big show of their racial wokeness by vandalizing statues of historical figures and getting “The Dukes of Hazzard” taken off TV. And that message is:

Black people are laughing at you!

Johnson calls these overheated white racial warriors (have you seen the video of the entitled young white woman screaming in the faces of two black police officers about how they’re undermining her struggle against racism?) “borderline anarchists” and says their attempts to “cancel” people for thought crimes such as saying that “all lives matter” are "tantamount to rearranging the deck chairs on a racial Titanic. It absolutely means nothing…White Americans seem to think that if they just do sort of emotionally or drastic things that black people are going to say, ‘Oh my God, white people love us because they took down a statue of Stonewall Jackson.’ Frankly, black people don’t give a d**n."

And he thinks the “silliest expression of white privilege” is white celebrities releasing videos of themselves apologizing for being white, and saying, “'Oh, my God, I am so sorry that I am white.’ I don't find any black people getting on Twitter and saying, 'Oh, I'm so sorry I'm black.' And we got the worst problems...My thing is: embrace being white and do the right thing."

Johnson said none of this self-righteous political theater is going to “give a kid whose parents can't afford college money to go to college. It's not going to close the labor gap between what white workers are paid and what black workers are paid. And it's not going to take people off welfare or food stamps.”

Incidentally, I should point out that that’s what he means by “Do the right thing,” not that you should watch the Spike Lee movie instead of “Gone With The Wind” and tweet at length about how woke to your privilege it made you.

And now, something fun to take your mind off all the crazy and infuriating news, and remind you of how little most of America has changed. Ford commissioned a survey to find out just how much Americans love their pickup trucks. They were asked what they would give up before they would give up their pickups. Here’s what they said:

* 82% would give up Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video.

* 79% would give up drinking alcohol.

* 71% would give up drinking coffee.

* 47% would give up using their phone.

* 44% would give up eating meat.

* 38% would give up sex.

And if people had to give up alcohol, sex, and barbecue, PLUS their pickups, we’d all have to give up country music, because there’d be nothing left to write songs about.

Tonight, to celebrate welcoming our studio audience back to “Huckabee” on TBN, we have an extra special show for them and for you! To discuss the week’s news, I’ll visit with HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson. You’ll meet an incredibly inspiring young girl, Grace Anna Rogers, and learn how to keep joy in your life from “joyologist” Dawn Barton. I won’t spoil the surprise, but the Sandou Trio will present one of the most amazing acts you will ever see. And we’ll cap it all off with the music of country/gospel star and winner of NBC’s “The Voice,” Todd Tilghman.

We’ve got all that and more, coming your way tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, only on TBN. To find where you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top. You can also stream previous episodes, highlights and Internet-only “Digital Exclusives,” like extended interviews and extra performances by our musical and comedy guests. It’s all at

Love the pickup truck article! According to David Allen Coe, the perfect country and western song has to mention trucks, trains, getting drunk, prison, and rain. Such a very true observation! YEEHAW!!!

So President Trump accidentally included a video clip of a white supporter yelling "White Power!" and as soon as it was made public, he took it down. Does this mean that every "Black Power" yelling, poster, sign, or tweet will also be taken down from wherever it appears on the Internet? It's only fair.

Hunter Biden traveled to over 400 cities during the obama era..... Why ? He was delivering messages.

Reading Margaret Thatchers books. To bring down the Berlin Wall. Three people visted Pope John Paul - who could travel to Poland - a communist country. He delivered messages. Therefore it would not be leaked. President Regan, Margaret Thatcher, Anwar Suddat, Pope John Paul. Later all four people had assassinate attempts. Regan - shot Thatcher was to attend a speech and at the last minute she became ill Her Lord Major died in the bombing. Suddat was killed, Pope was shot.

Even back then elected government officials knew the FBI and CIA could not be trusted. The culture started with Edgar Hoover and has continued forward. When you give anyone the ability to spy - it is power. And when you have the "goods" on anyone. You control their vote.

People of color have been laughing at white people for being outraged by so called racism for decades. White people support black music white people support professional sports white people support college sports programs white people support welfare payouts white people support how white people can communicate white people support hiring practices with the exception of goggle twitter and other high tech industries those are just a few examples how black people control white people and white people are not aware of it. Black Lives matter is going to take more from the white people until there is nothing left. BLM don't give back. Don't worry white people the MSM won't let you know till everything is on the ground burned down or stolen then the real laughing will begin.

2 things. First i believe the reason many whites and church.goers side with the looters is they have been conditioned to believe the lie. Whites are a degenerate race that has no reason for existing. Second is many in fear of being singled out if the Marxists win. They will be first to be in slave camps administered. ByCommunist overlords.
Also I am waiting for a new site
#destroy faith. That is the end goal of Marxist and Nazi plans. So far many churchgoers are a part of that. A great falling away. It is happening out here on the west coast.
I live in Washington and the Marxist governor has decided we are a virus infected state and so everyone has hide behind a mask. Anything to destroy people connecting together

The reason our secular leftist leaders stopped churches is because they don't want people praying and meeting to do just that. They are the henchmen of the evil enemy of God, and doing his bidding by stopping worship and prayer. But people can still pray, and God sees what is happening in our country. Thank you for putting up the Bible verses to remind people where our true deliverance and power comes from -- by turning back to God, humbling ourselves and praying. And the secular leftists can never stop God.

Sincethere is no law in Seattle too bad people do not put up speakers playing scriptures 24 hous a day in Seattle aimed at the occupied buildings or shoot religious tracts toward the building but warn the disgusted business owner first

It amused me that they named their new "city state" Chop. (Guess someone nicknamed Chaz objected to the first choice on infringement ground?) Chop as in what the whiz-bank Chef on the cooking show does to the the onions, carrots, celery, peppers & other veggies....Given their criminal activities, I'd say it fits.

After being in the Unification movement for 40 years, I realize that peace will only come about when people realize the importance of God. The movement , since 1972 has been trying to awaken Christianity in USA to make a stand, it also established the Washington Times Newspaper to bring a conservative view to counteract the liberalism in government. Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher noticed that and thanked the founders Rev and Mrs Moon. They also established CAUSA to counteract communism in South America , giving Godism as a counterproposal to communism, and in S Korea and Japan established Victory over Communism to quell its progress there. In Feb 2020 was the World Summit which brought 5000 world leaders from around the world to find ways to bring peace in the world. Newt Gingrich , Dan Barton and others attended. World Clergy Leadership Conference was also established this year to reawaken Christianity. Dr Hak Ja Han Moon appears to have the answers to mobilizing the world through a realization that God is the solution , as mankind has not been able to bring peace for centuries, because they have forgotten who made them and for what, living as God's children in happy God centered families.

Your newsletter today has an ad that says, "Would you vote for Obama for a third term?" It should have been taken down three years ago because it assumes he is still in office. Also its author apparently is unaware that the Constitution limits the President to two terms.

I love your newsletter and read it everyday. Keep up the good work and may God bless you and your family. Please consider using the NIV, or other more "modern" translations of the Bible for your verse of the day. The verses are so much more meaningful when they are more understandable.

See I don't understand bet founders comment about equil pay. In all my working life from 1967 to 2008, in the US Navy and the US Air Fiporce, working in a chemical plant, as a firefighter I have never run across were one person weather white, black, brown, yellow or red was paid more for the same job. My Senior NCO was paid more than me because he did a different job, my forman was paid more cause he did a different job as a firefighter captain I was paid more cause I did a different job. And I forgot there was also women I worked with . I would ask this guy were is this pay gap at?

Yesterday I downloaded Walter Williams Amnesty Proclamation from Dr. Walter Williams website. Dr. Williams is an African American economist of some renown, and is very intelligent and insightful. The Amnesty Proclamation essentially absolves and pardons anyone of European descent for "both their own grievances and those of their forebears against my people." It can be downloaded from his website I think you enjoy reading the full text. It presents an alternative view of all the racist claims being raised against whites, in general.

We need to DEFINE RACIST and differentiate between acts of individuals and policy.
For example, a cop may shoot a black guy but there is no policy allowing him to do that.

Part of the law and order issue has arisen in the courts. How can you follow a written law when the courts are now using other court cases and previous actions as a reason to ignore the actual written law? The courts also use the standard in some cases to rule in favor of one side over another because it would make too much of an impact (usually financial) to rule in favor of the other, EVEN IF the written law or contract favors the side in the minority. You don't know where you stand because the courts have made the laws so fluid. Law and order are necessary, but the courts should stay out of rewriting laws from the bench!
