Hillary Clinton can try to blithely dismiss all the recent revelations about her self-enriching ties to Russian interests as “baloney,” but if that baloney has a first name, it’s S-T-I-N-K. Appropriately for Halloween season, the rotting perfidy is rising from where it was long buried to stalk her again. It might not be so easy to dismiss, considering these latest developments:

The nonprofit Campaign Legal Center has already filed a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission accusing her campaign and the DNC of violating federal election laws. They were legally required to accurately disclose the purpose and recipients of all campaign-related expenditures, including opposition research. But they allegedly paid over $12 million to a law firm that used much of that money to pay for creating the Trump dossier, and they not only didn’t disclose it, they denied it for a year. Oops.

House Speaker Paul Ryan put his weight behind the House Intelligence Committee’s subpoena to the FBI, demanding that they stop stonewalling and produce documents relating to their handling of the Trump dossier.

Last night, the DOJ finally released a former FBI informant from a confidentiality agreement and will allow him to disclose in private to top Congressional investigators “any information or documents he has concerning alleged corruption or bribery involving transactions in the uranium market, including but not limited to anything related to Vadim Mikerin, Rosatom, Tenex, Uranium One, or the Clinton Foundation.” Funny, I don't see anything named "Trump" in that list.

And to wrap it all up neatly, Mollie Hemingway at the Federalist offers a list of 10 things you need to know about the exploding Trump Russian dossier story. It includes things you might think you know that aren’t really correct. And you might find numbers 8 and 9 particularly eye-opening.

While the "heat" is certainly rising with respect to all of the recent disclosures surrounding the "dossier"
As well as the Uranium One deal, I'm afraid I have little faith in the ability of Congress to accomplish
Much, if anything, in an investigation. I'm still waiting for someone to be prosecuted for the fiasco
Of Benghazi, for Director of the IRS Koskinen to be prosecuted for lying to Congress, for Lois Lerner to
Be sitting in jail for violating the principle of the 5th amendment by prefacing it with a "speech" about her innocence, and for Eric Holder to be punished for being in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents on "fast and furious". I understand that there is actually a jail cell beneath Congress. Seems like
    A terrible waste of space.

Why is she saying Jeff Session told the Congress there was collusion between Trump and Russia, when he didn't say that and there is no evidence?

All I can say, Mike, is that I hope they keep the witness safe, because witnesses against the Clintons seem to have a way of dying before their time.

This breaks my heart. However, I believe she is guilty 210%. And she and all involved need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. (I hate to say this, but that includes the former president BHO.)
