Can’t stand to watch one more minute of hearings on TV? I get that.  Still, Wednesday is the day to set those feelings aside and tune in to FOX News’ coverage of the Horowitz Senate testimony.

IG Michael Horowitz has at last released his report on the FBI’s abuse of the FISA court to justify surveilling Trump's campaign in 2016 (and continuing their spying into 2017). His testimony under questioning from Republican Senators such as Lindsay Graham should be eye-opening. So my staff researchers have put together a “prep list” of choice commentaries and video for you to read and watch.

First of all, since you probably haven’t had time to wade through the entire report, this will be helpful: investigative reporter John Solomon has taken Horowitz’ own words and assembled “The Comey FBI’s 17 worst failures, inaccuracies and omissions flagged in the Russia FISA report.” Most of these have already been covered at some time or another in the Huckabee newsletter, as we’ve been following the hoax closely for a long time, but here they are all together, as a sort of “Cliffs Notes” version of the report. Again, this is no fuzzy paraphrase or biased interpretation; it’s Horowitz’ conclusions as he expressed them himself. Highly recommended.

https://johnsolomonreports.com/the-comey-fbis-17-worst-failures-inaccuracies-and-omissions-flagged-in-the-russia-fisa-report/

If you’re curious to see what the mainstream media are doing with the Horowitz report, and you don’t mind risking your head exploding (I can’t make any guarantees), contrast the Solomon piece you’ve just read with the following story from USA TODAY, which simply presents the Democrat-sanctioned version of Horowitz’ conclusions. Warning: there are countless lies, spins and inaccuracies in this account. My researchers could literally spend all night going back and correcting all the “journalism,” but they tell me it’s just not worth the effort because if you are a regular reader of the Huckabee newsletter, you can probably spot fake news of this type a mile away, all on your own.

https://news.yahoo.com/trump-russia-ukraine-five-presidential-140019406.html

Oh, and former FBI Director James Comey has wasted no time in using the “media” version of the report to let himself off the hook for outrageous misconduct and even, it appears, to justify more lying. He must think nobody’s actually reading the report and seeing all the serious stuff he so far has gotten away with. He’s claiming that he was supposed to go on FOX & Friends but that they canceled on him after the report was released; they say none of that is true. Wonder if Comey will actually go on FOX News now that Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum have both reached out to him.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/fox-news-refutes-comey-claim-that-network-canceled-upcoming-appearance

To bring you back to reality after exposure to a Comey tweet, here’s the full interview AG Bill Barr did with NBC News’ Pete Williams about the IG report. How reassuring to hear from someone in Washington with a level head. It’s important to watch the whole thing.

https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=uh-mail-web&p=william+barr+interview#id=1&vid=92e7d3daba2da3301ccf423c82f0e2ff&action=view

But wait, there’s more! Mollie Hemingway at THE FEDERALIST has a great piece in which she shows how the IG report finally vindicates then-House Intelligence Committee chair (now ranking minority member) Devin Nunes for the memo he wrote two years ago about the FBI’s abuse of the FISA court, and goes on to show how the report exposes the many whoppers contained in the memo written by current committee chair Adam Schiff. At the time, the media trashed Nunes’ report –- not to mention Nunes himself –- and praised Schiff’s. If the media could see straight, they would have done the opposite. But now we can confirm: Nunes = truth; Schiff = lies.

https://thefederalist.com/2019/12/10/ig-report-confirms-schiff-fisa-memo-media-praised-was-riddled-with-lies/

By the way, Schiff is still lying as much as ever.  Listen to what he said Tuesday about going forward with impeachment instead of waiting for the next election: “The argument ‘why don’t you just wait’ amounts to this: Why don’t you just let him cheat in one more election? Why not let him cheat just one more time? Why not let him have foreign help just one more time? That is what that argument amounts to.” Never mind that after years of exhaustive investigation, there is absolutely no evidence that Trump “cheated” in 2016 (and we know Hillary HAD foreign help). Schiff is demonstrating that this truly is a “preemptive impeachment” --- impeaching Trump for something Schiff says might happen in the future.

Moving on...after reading these excellent commentaries, I’d say you’re more than ready to settle in Wednesday and listen to Horowitz testify before the Senate. But here’s one more piece for you that’s not about the IG report --- it’s about the articles of impeachment just submitted by Nadler’s Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Nadler reportedly started out with four articles but thought the better of it and is now down to two extremely vague charges: “abuse of power” and “obstruction of Congress.” Joel B. Pollak has written a piece called “Line by Line, a Complete Debunking of the Democrats’ Articles of Impeachment,” and that’s exactly what it is. Again, my staff could have spent the entire night producing something like this, but they are thrilled that Pollack has done all the work, and so expertly that we decided just to link to his. (Thank you, Mr. Pollack!)

His piece is a must-read. In fact, if you read anything about the horror show that is the Democrats’ pathetic push to impeach President Trump, this has got to be it. Share it with friends who are mystified by what is going on politically right now. Show it to other friends who assume Trump MUST have done something wrong for there to be so much fuss about it. Of course, much of this material is information we’ve covered over many months, but you’ve got to see it incorporated into Pollack’s spectacular line-by-line takedown of the Democrats’ lame accusations.

Admiral Mike Rogers Chief for NSA. He was appointed by Obama and saved Trump from Clapper. A must for Mike Huckabee's show.

I will not watch any of this garbage. I can tell you that there a great deal of my moderate friends who will not be voting Democrat next yr. They cannot believe what is happening here in California and what they are doing on their behalf in D.C.! Pelosi and her disciples are in for a very rude shock come November when they loose the House for wasting taxpayers dollars on this impeachment mallorky! Trump will be in office 4 more years. Democrats have guaranteed that now. We just need to get rid of Newsome, Pelosi and Schiff who cost San Diego millions in tourist revenue. Schiff and Pelosi belong behind bars!

    Mike,
Looks like we lose again against the corrupt Deep state Democrats. Horowitz testimony was a sham he continues to lie like the rest that there was no spying. I am glad this time I did not listen to your advice to watch it, because I would have been extremely upset listening to the lies. It also looks like they needed Doug Collins, Nunez and Jordan to ask Horowitz questions. Mr. Graham let Horowitz off easy. What a freaking joke this all is and the Republicans have no morals and run scared of the Democrats. We the American people or us deplorables lose yet again. Not one of the Obama and Hillary mafia gang will ever see prison time.

Very enlightening how blind people can be when they want to be. 17 irregularities in the Horowitz report show that there was NO bias agianst our President and yet there were NO irregularities AGAINST the far LEFT opposition?????

Schiff & Nadler need to take notes from Lindsay Graham on how to conduct hearings; what a contrast today!! And we knew we were actually hearing the truth; not a bunch of lies!!! Can’t wait for more to come; hope people are held accountable for the mess that’s been going on for 3 yrs.!!

My advice to Republican Congress Members is to quit speaking to other members of Congress. You are not changing their minds or votes. Instead as you make your speeches and questions, direct them to the common Americans.
Such as, whether you are a Democrat or Republican, how fair or legal if a member of Congress published your phone records
    Or
As soon as you are cleared of one accusation, they make another one
The point is to make it personal what they are doing to the president, they can do to you
There are enough fair minded Americans (both parties) to know this is wrong and they can change it
    Thanks for considering this suggestion

Wednesday was the day to watch BUT NOT BECAUSE OF HOROWITZ BUT because ofSenator Graham. After hearing today’s testimony, If I were a democrat (and thank God, I’m not) I would have stood up and said “I renounce EVERYTHING the DNC has done and I want to apologize and ask to become Republican if they will accept me (hint, hint, I’d like to keep my seat and dignity).

Thanks for the good report Governor. I have commented about my negative assessment of Mueller, Horowitz, and Barr with a promise to apologize if I was wrong. It is beginning to look like I may have been somewhat wrong about Horowitz and Barr. I still do not understand why Horowitz tried to whitewash his findings and gave the dims, Comey and the fake media just enough leeway to immediately claim vindication of the FBI and of course prove that Trump abused his power etc.

So I apologize at this point for being cynical.

Where are any of these facts, TV ads, interviews, legal professors, Constitutional analysts and lawyers, or Republicans as a whole shown in ANY media NATION WIDE??? How can we defend our president; stand up to all the wacky libs when ALL we see on TV are the Dems. Nothing that I have seen locally refutes anything from any report. WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS??? WHEN IS IT TIME TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and START FIGHTING BACK????

Wouldn't it be great if your friend Laura Aynesworth, ( this is how her name sounds to me, but I doubt I spelled it correctly), any way I wish she could compose a song exposing the whole truth of the democrats, and all other liberal who are unlearned, and describe how spoiled, immature, rotten, ignorant of facts, unable to face the truth, and so ignorant concerning the difference between a lie and the truth, and how honest folks are torn between pity and disgust toward them.

It was so obvious that Horowitz has some bias, just in the round-about way he is answering the questions given him by Senator Graham vs the direct way he is responding to Senator Feinstein and the other democrats. When a Republican Senator asks him a question he dodges behind protocol and process. When a Democrat asked him a question he usually responded with a direct answer.

Why didn’t the Horowitz Report include any recommendations for prosecution. Is he not in a position to do so. Seems as though it should be fore coming

Lisa Page,  it's called consequences, if you don't like them, think before you make your choices, then don't cry from the consequences. Quit blaming someone else for your problems, they're the results of your actions.

you know, the best thing about TV in a free society? We can change the channel! In a place like the ussr and China, there isn't much option. it appears all this is a repeat of the stuff under Mueller. Before the phone call. There is no new stuff. I don't watch the hearing, I get snippets here and there and leave it at that.

After hearing the rules and procedure of the Senate trial of impeachment Trump might get tossed because some republicans will turn against him. If this happens does the other really matter? The swamp wins.

Great piece, again! One certainty about all this is that the Dems have now decided it's PLUNGE FORWARD... no matter what. They have also made clear that their usual and constant insults to Trump are based on pure FEAR. They have zeroed in on 2 sins: Racism and Sexism. Why? They represent their 2 vital voter blocks... Blacks and Women. Where would they be without ALL of both blocks? Even a 5 or 6% drop in either group and they are finished. Keep up the communications, Mike! You are a VERY bright light on the Internet!

Amazing!! Utterly amazing how all these actions, facts, substantiated facts by the way, can be summarize as Mr Horowitz so casually as, “some irregularities” were found!!! WHAT???? Makes me wonder if HE actually read what HE actually found, wrote, summited as his report! Talk about catching someone in the cookie jar and then saying that you actually didn’t see a cookie in their hand! Wishy washy political B.S. , period! Finely finding the “smoking gun” , only to walk around it! Mr Barr is completely correct in his disappointment with how the “facts” have been washed over. Again, it looks like another hit job by another person who has no admiration or even a “like” for our President. He did his job then published his findings in a way that the guilty will be happy and the truth will not matter. I’m glad that there are people who can read it and read through the smoke and understand it and are doing everything they can to make everyone else understand completely what WAS FOUND,and exactly how bad it really is. God Bless America and our President.

Listening to the lies coming from the left and then their failure to site ANY testimony of firsthand fact witnesses in their "Articles of Impeachment" is painful. I was reminded of Ecclesiastes 1:9b: "... there is nothing new under the sun" as I was reading in Acts this morning about Paul. While there are certainly differences in the details of his situation from those of President Trump, Paul faced the same type of kangaroo court proceedings. Refer to Acts 21:27-26:32. I know it is a bit lengthy, but the parallels in PROCESS are undeniable. God brought his servant Paul through it, but at great personal cost--his life. I don't know President Trump's personal understanding of Jesus and salvation, but he is undeniably God's servant for this country at this time (Romans 13:1). I wait with faith and hope for God's perfect outcome of all of this painful cacophony.
