It just gets worse for the FBI. We knew that Christopher Steele’s Trump/Russia “dossier,” used as “evidence” to make the case for spying on Carter Page (and thus the whole campaign) could not be verified and was essentially fake. Now, guess what else is turning out to be a probable fake?

The infamous “black ledger” used to go after Paul Manafort.

Also called the “black cash ledger” because it was alleged to have recorded cash payments to Manafort from a Ukrainian political party he was working for, it was leaked by a Ukrainian official in the summer of 2016 to deliberately damage Trump’s campaign. This was the beginning of Manafort’s nightmare: his resignation as Donald Trump’s campaign chairman, his federal indictment on charges unrelated to Russia that had already been looked at and dropped in 2014, his long months of solitary confinement, his splashy trial and his plea deal.

Now the state of New York, just to keep Manafort out of reach of any pardon by Trump, has filed charges of its own and even tried to send him to Rikers Island to await trial. (The DOJ later refused to let Cyrus Vance, the U.S. attorney, transfer him there.) And in a case of truly unfortunate timing, the Supreme Court just ruled that it’s not double jeopardy for a person to be tried for the same crime by both federal and state courts. I would argue that this particular case is still double jeopardy, as there is considerable overlap among the officials involved in both trials --- the same cast of characters going after him again.

Ironically, that Ukrainian official who leaked the ledger was later found by the justice system in his own country to have interfered in the U.S. election. Note: here is another example of foreign involvement in our election that was undertaken to help HILLARY, not Trump. Did Robert Mueller and his special counsel team look at any of that? Uh, that would be a “no.”

John Solomon has a new blockbuster piece in THE HILL revealing that according to documents and over a dozen interviews with knowledgeable sources, the feds were warned repeatedly in late summer of 2016 that the ledger was likely a fake and could not be trusted. The FBI used it anyway, as probable cause for their search warrants on Manafort’s bank records in 2017.

Ukraine’s top anti-corruption prosecutor, Nazar Kholodnytsky, told Solomon that he personally warned warned the U.S. State Department’s law enforcement liaison and multiple FBI agents that Ukrainian officials who recovered the ledger believed it was probably a fraud. “It was not to be considered a document of Manafort,” he said. “It was not authenticated. And at that time it should not be used to bring accusation against anybody.”

And Manafort’s business partner, Konstantin Kilimnik --- we’ve heard this name before; he was working as a regular informer for the State Department, though Mueller failed to mention that exculpatory fact in his report --- told the U.S. government almost immediately after The New York Times wrote about it in August 2016 that the ledger was probably a fake.

On August 22, Kilimnik sent an email to a senior U.S. official that said Manafort “could not have possibly taken large amounts of cash across three borders. It was always a different arrangement –- payments were in wire transfers to his companies, WHICH IS NOT A VIOLATION.” (Emphasis mine.) Then he said, “I have some questions about this black cash stuff, because those published records do not make sense. The timeframe doesn’t match anything related to payments made to Manafort...it does not match my records. All fees Manafort got were wires, not cash.”

U.S. law enforcement must have known this. Three sources familiar with the documents told Solomon that Mueller’s team as well as the FBI were given copies of Kilimnik’s warning.

But there was a way for the FBI to avoid knowingly submitting false or suspect evidence in Manafort’s case: instead of citing the ledger itself as evidence, they cited MEDIA REPORTS about the ledger. This is kind of like what they did with the dossier –- they used Michael Isikoff’s story as “evidence” after the “dossier” narrative had been planted with him. It looks as though the FBI leaked the ledger story as well, because the day before the AP published a story that was later cited by the FBI in its search warrant application, Andrew Weissmann and FBI officials met with those very same AP reporters!

“So, essentially,” Solomon explains, “the FBI cited a leak that the government had facilitated and then used it to support the black ledger evidence, even though it had been clearly warned about the document.” He concludes, “In the end, the best proof that the FBI knew the black ledger was a sham is that prosecutors never introduced it to jurors in Manafort’s trial.”

The FBI appears to have sustained an investigation into Trump/Russia “collusion” for more than two years based primarily on two extremely suspect documents --- the dossier and the black ledger. What should be shocking news is at this point unsurprising, par-for-the-course. The FBI was so underhanded that it has actually made us feel sympathetic towards a semi-shady international lobbyist who committed mortgage and tax fraud. Rep. Mark Meadows of the House Oversight Committee is asking the Justice Department IG to investigate the way the FBI and prosecutors handled the Manafort warrants, including any media leaks and evidence that the government knew the black ledger was potentially unreliable.

Why? Why would they send this man to Rikers for his business dealings? What is this? Who are these people and the scam they have put forth on the President and on Manafort for money deals? Something is horrible going on here and very scary for our society and our Govt on what can be done to take down certain people? See all that the Clintons have done for business dealings and all okay but WHY and HOW?

Leadership of most, if not all, Federal agencies during the last administration were corrupt and abused the power granted to them.
If these individuals are not held fully accountable our democracy will disappear.
The abuses of the U.S. hating left will be exponentially larger if they reoccupy 1600.

I have been observing what is happening politically in the USA for many years. It is hard for me to believe that a political party could be so corrupt and evil as the Democrats are, and that they have all the so called security alphabet groups in their pocket, is more than a little alarming. Personally I would fire everyone, in all of those groups from the top and down at least five levels. The cancer in these organisations runs wide and deep. I believe that they collectively make up the criminal deep state, along with the huge money from the likes of Soro's and the Rothchilds. Then we have the groups like the Skull and bones, Bilderberg and the trilateral commission, to name just a few of them, all working to help these vile organisations like the FBI and the CIA to end everything we hold dear like patriotism and Nationalism, the Constitution and the Flag. All with a view to creating a Socialist America (followed by the rest of the world), and ultimately a One World Order. They are unflinching in their determination to achieve that end, no matter who or what gets in their way. Their capacity for evil knows no ends.
It is way past time that their was a round up of the biggest players, Hillary and co first and foremost, and jail their sorry arses for life. Only then can the people begin to feel safe again.
I pray for America, and for the President. <3

I pray for our Gods mercy that He continues to shine the light and expose the corruption. AND that each participant guilty be made accountable. Mercy, you ask? Yes, mercy. Being made accountable while one lives and breathes on this earth and having the public humiliation and experiencing the consequences of their crimes may drop them to their knees in repentance. Surely everyone would rather face their consequences and accountability before a human judge than fail to repent, fail to embrace our Lord now and have to face the eternal judge after their time in earth is complete. I realize that not all will “repent” and embrace our Lords generous forgiveness, but even if s few do, how glorious is that? But also, if they are not held accountable, it sets up a poor example for future would be corruption endeavors that there are no consequences, essentially encouraging more. Lord, God, shine your light!

I hope Mr Manafort will be saved. The sheer aggression against him by political losers is a sign of his worth as a human being. He was a great asset in electing the greatest US President since George Washigton himself, how could the nation NOT want this man pardoned for what many if not most lobbiests do today.

More proof that Mueller is crooked, shady, has dirty hands of his own trying to keep things going so nobody will check on him and biding his time hoping Trump will loose and they will all go scot free. He needs jail more than Hillary and that is saying a lot.

Mueller dishonesty knows no bounds. He KNEW he had nothing to investigate and now he's using media stories to collaborate the Black book story? My word, It gets more rotten as days go by. And We are told Mueller and Weismann helped to write the story for this so called black book? Weismann, needs a jail cell, in GITMO

many times the supreme court gets it wrong and can be obvious by the earlier courts. double jeopardy is any court. tried is in any court. they break their own constitution by changing the meaning in effort to "get their man or woman". throwing away the reason for the double jeopardy. their home countries would keep trying them over and over in any court until they got the verdict they wanted. and now the supreme court is letting it happen again, only here in the land of the free.

Now! Now, we the people want the Dept. of Justice to follow through and prosecute these criminals from Mueller and Weissmann to Comey and other corrupt FBI, CIA, DOJ officials based on all the evidence of their criminality and what they did to our country and our president. Robert Mueller should never have been named special counsel to investigate Russian interference because of his dirty dealings in Boston. Rosenstein, the person who hired Mueller, likely has dirt on his hands and should be investigated. Never in America have we seen such stomach turning corruption and conduct. It must be rooted out and prosecuted, it has no place in America. Normal people and the country have nothing but disgust and loathing for Mueller and the judges for persecuting Manafort - yes persecuting, not prosecuting!

The District of Criminals is SO corrupt that Trump almost stands alone. It is very hard for him to be able to trust anyone. About the time he needs the republicans standing tight and tall with him, they knife him in the back like the Saudi Weapons sale. Even good ole traitor Lindsay Graham! When he can gain from supporting the president he does but when there is a chance to screw him he takes it.

What I'm trying to say is that the swamp, deep state, cesspool or whatever name you choose; is almost unstoppable at this point. When some of the criminals of the Obama era are prosecuted, I will be encouraged. Until then, which slimy swamp snake can call the swamp rat slick?

I'm sure extreme-left democrats are huddling and conniving about laws they can change that will protect the criminals amongst them--making sure, of course, that said laws would not change anything about Paul Manafort and others that have been ruined by the criminal element. And saddest of all, the high up people in the very departments that should be protecting ALL people from the dirty deeds of the democrats, DNC, hilary, obama, etc etc etc are just as dirty. Unannounced early morning raids on homes, hotels, offices, with guns drawn should raid down on these very people.

Every time you give us this kind of news; you remind all of us of the corruption in our government, It is time for the American people to demand that this corruption be put to an end and that individuals listening to their dark side influences be held accountable.
I wish that PEOPLE with integrity and financial means could create billboards in every state, THAT READS " Wake up America, united we stand divided we fall, let's clean the corruption in our government now. Our Constitutional government, our Republic, our way of life, our religion, our family unit, our system of education, are under attack, Vote with the" Light" in 2020."

ALSO GOV HUCK--Fisa court judge Rudy Contreras was pals with Strozk and Page, accidentally 'meeting' judge Rudy at a small dinner party before the election so as not to awaken anyone's suspicion. And incidentally, the same FISA court judge Rudy put the kaibosh on Trumps pipeline.
