How do you solve a problem like Ilhan Omar?
By Mike Huckabee
To paraphrase “The Sound of Music,” how do you solve a problem like Ilhan Omar? The Democrats have tried blaming her repeated anti-Semitic ravings on Republicans (for daring to complain about them), calling it a misinterpretation of what she said (she was merely criticizing the business practices of a specific pro-Israel lobbying group, which she plainly was not), and defusing it by passing a meaningless non-binding resolution that says they’re opposed to bad things in the whole general area of prejudice without mentioning any names, of course.
The media have been eager to trumpet those transparent excuses like the good Democratic Party PR flacks that many of them are. Unfortunately, this requires even the “paper of record” (now a broken record), the New York Times, to make up “fake news” in order to sell the narrative. Like attacking the pro-Israel PAC that the Dems tried to deflect the heat to with a hit piece filled with inaccuracies, much of it based on quotes from someone who hasn’t worked for that PAC for years.
"Huckabee" preview
By Mike Huckabee
Why go out on Saturday night when the best entertainment is in your living room, with tonight’s new episode of “Huckabee” on TBN? Political analyst Dick Morris will share some amazing stories from his 50 years inside the highest circles of power. I have a special segment shot during my recent trip to Poland with the Prime Minister and the US Ambassador. We’ll have a visit with Christian pop star Julianna Zobrist and music from country legend Lee Greenwood. Plus news and commentary both serious and crazy, “In Case You Missed It.” Finally, a segment that I’m sure will be the hottest video on the Internet come Monday. I can’t give it away, but I’ll give you a two-word hint: “Cat tricks.”
Catch it at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, only on TBN. To find your local TBN channel and stream previous episodes online, visit https://www.tbn.org/programs/huckabee

We know she's anti-Semitic, but there's a lot we don't know
By Mike Huckabee
With boldly anti-Semitic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar making news this week –- along with the conflicted Democrats in Congress who ultimately found it impossible to condemn her anti-Semitism –- I thought it might be good to do a little research and find out more about her.
Going back to October of 2018, shortly before the election that took her to Congress as one of the first two Muslim women ever elected, we find that even then, several questions had followed her about her campaign finances, truthfulness under oath, and even her marriages, with allegations of bigamy and even that she was legally married to her brother for a short time for the purpose of committing immigration fraud. These are issues that first arose in 2016, when she was running for her seat in the Minnesota state legislature.

My Show Monologue - March 2
By Mike Huckabee
What a week this has been! President Trump had his 2nd summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, Congress has been grilling admitted and convicted liar Michael Cohen, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was indicted by his political enemies in Israel, and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared herself the “Boss” and pushed for a guaranteed minimum income for everyone. And yet there’s another issue from this week that’s bigger than any of those, but I’ll save it for last.
Like the song by the great American diplomat Kenny Rogers, “You gotta know when to hold them; know when to fold them; know when to walk away when the dealing’s done,” President Trump walked away from his meeting with N. Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and headed back to Washington without signing an agreement. The same critics who predicted he would sign away America’s security then condemned him for NOT signing away America’s security. The left may be irrational, but at least they are consistently irrational. I’ve said for some time that getting a true verifiable de-nuclearization deal will not be an event, but a process. This was another step in the process, but what the leader of the Hermit Kingdom now realizes is that President Trump will not agree to something just to claim a victory if it’s not a good plan for the rest of the world. The people who couldn’t give him credit for getting up from the table and demonstrating resolve probably would have preferred that he just deliver pallets of green US cash to the tune of billions of dollars in unrestricted money and let N Korea keep its nuclear program.
FOCUS ON WILLIAM BARR: time for fact-finding and accountability!
By Mike Huckabee
New Attorney General William Barr already has an enormous amount on his plate, with many observers demanding to see accountability and the blindfold tied back over Lady Liberty’s eyes but others highly doubtful of any reform.
In the wake of Michael Cohen’s disastrous (for him) testimony last week, and in anticipation of still more closed-door “classified” testimony –- which is just weird, since Cohen doesn’t even have a security clearance –- ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes appeared on FOX News’ Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday show to talk about what actually NEEDS to happen in order to get the real “Russia” story.
He’s put together a list of 32 people he wants to see questioned, including some names that haven’t been mentioned publicly until now, though he gave it to the Republican Task Force at the end of the last Congress, before the Democrats took over in January. This long list should remind us that what we know is still just the tip of the iceberg. But these still-unfamiliar names are important because they may have been involved in the chain of custody for the “salacious and unverified” (James Comey's words) Trump/Russia “dossier.”

"Inconvenient truth"
By Mike Huckabee
Here’s an “inconvenient truth” that the left would prefer nobody talk about: Ivanka Trump, who serves as a jobs creation adviser in her father’s Administration, revealed that during the first quarter of fiscal 2019, more Americans re-entered the work force than in any other quarter since the government started keeping track of that number. For the first time in history, we have more job openings than there are unemployed people, so a stunning 73% of the people who entered the workforce during the last quarter came off the sidelines and weren’t even considered among the unemployed.
If you remember the Obama economy, we often heard claims that the unemployment rate was artificially low because people who had exhausted their unemployment benefits and couldn’t find jobs just gave up looking – which, ironically, meant they were no longer counted among the unemployed. But there are now so many jobs that even people who couldn’t land a job a few years ago and gave up looking are now coming back into the workforce and getting hired.

Laura Ainsworth: Brandon Straka of #WalkAway in a MUST-SEE interview
By Laura Ainsworth, Staff writer
Just a few months ago, I wrote about “coming out” as a conservative/constitutionalist Republican after years of writing in anonymity. As I’m also a musician, I’d had professional reasons for keeping quiet about my politics; namely, not wanting to alienate those who were left of center, especially fans (and potential fans), other musicians, record buyers (an endangered species as it is) and others who might unfriend/blacklist me. Believe me, I see enough rabidly anti-Trump posts on Facebook and elsewhere to know that this could very well happen. But during the Kavanaugh hearings, something snapped, and I realized the future of the Republic was too important for me to keep my views “in the closet.”
So I wrote about politics under my own name for the first time, here on the Mike Huckabee website. And in the hope of inspiring some of my left-of-center friends to think for themselves, I bought a #WalkAway t-shirt, which I’ve worn a few times but plan to wear a lot more now that warm weather is on its way. Brandon Straka (rhymes with “walk,” as the last “a” isn’t pronounced), founder of the #WalkAway Campaign, is my hero.
