Fauci Back In The Hot Seat

Who says there’s nothing entertaining on TV anymore? Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci was back in the hot seat before the Senate, and it got blistering when Sen. Rand Paul, who is also a doctor, drilled down on his reported funding and support for “gain of function” virus research. That’s when viruses from sources like…let’s say, bats…are altered in the lab to make them more transmissible to humans, so that their effects can be studied.

In years past, Fauci made comments about the benefits of such dangerous experiments outweighing the risks, and it’s believed that the NIH under Fauci funded such research. If it turns out that COVID originated in the Wuhan lab, Paul wants Fauci to take partial responsibility for those risks that resulted in a deadly pandemic. He also quoted Fauci’s emails in which colleagues expressed fears that that was the case, but he publicly dismissed them. Fauci angrily accused Paul of not knowing what he was talking about. But Paul replied that Fauci can call him a liar, but he didn’t produce any facts that contradicted him. There are more details and video here:

Later, Sen. Paul told Sean Hannity that he will ask the DOJ for a criminal referral against Fauci for lying to Congress.

In further Fauci news, the doc says he agrees with the American Academy of Pediatrics that it’s “reasonable” to require all children older than two to wear masks all day at school.

I’m not a doctor. I don’t even play one on TV, like some people I could name. But I’ve already written at length about the many problems with making children wear masks for hours, from developmental issues to forcing them to breathe dangerous levels of CO2 to all the bacteria and viruses that get on the masks and are then pressed tightly over their mouths and noses.     Hi Mike, I read the link to jamanetwork.com. it does have retracted all over the background of this article which would cause some to question its legitimacy, no matter how inspiring. My husband and I are NOT pro mask wearers or pro Vaccine. The science followed does not support the efficacy and it does not take a rocket scientist to see it!! Keep up the good fight!!

    Fauci and his bunch at the cdc , cuomo and other people in power all need to be in jail for promoting lies about covid. There are other ways of stopping the virus, but big pharma is against anything that works and does not break the bank. I believe thousands of deaths could have been prevented. Keep up the good work. We all need to know what you have to share. $$$$ seem to count more than lives.

    I wanted to share the information that jamapediatrics had written on facebook and no surprise really, up popped a factchecker stating that it was partly incorrect.
    In my opinion only, anything to do with the covid ... and other subjects that the liberals don't like, are going to be slapped down with a fact checker or the person will be in facebook jail!

    Fake dr fauci lies every day. If you say one thing today and tomorrow say the opposite without admitting you were wrong the day before then you are lying. He tells a different story every day. He is afraid he is going to be caught up with his evil work in Wuhan lab.

    I want someone to ask Fauci how he knew on Jan. 10, 2017 that we would have this virus?? How did he know to tell the group at Georgetown University that there would be a surprise infectious disease outbreak during Trump's Presidency..

    Is it still true that No one 18 and younger should have the vaccinations because this is an experimental drug? Also why are they not telling us the percentage of deaths after having the vaccinations?

    So, the doctor who may be partly responsible for the development and subsequent release of a deadly virus is also the doctor providing national cautions and recommendations during the resultant pandemic. What could possibly be wrong with that scenario? We have lost our collective minds.
