Two Hillary attorneys behind Russia Hoax appear coordinated

By Mike Huckabee

One thing that’s been clear since Hillary’s Perkins Coie attorney Michael Sussmann was indicted by Special Counsel John Durham for lying to the FBI is that he is a pivotal character in the Russia Hoax. From Durham’s “speaking indictment” it’s easy to see that this man surely must be the Mother Lode of information about the whole scheme and virtually everyone involved, whether in the “Justice” Department and FBI, the media, the DNC, the Hillary campaign (same thing), or, with partner-in-slime Marc Elias, the fabricators of the “dossier.”

Yes, “fabricators.” George Stephanopoulos’s transparent and laughable attempts to redeem Christopher Steele via TV interview fell flat, as there’s still no verification of that stupid, mistake-riddled dossier.

Anyway, Aaron Mate at REAL CLEAR INVESTIGATIONS has a great piece on Sussmann and then-legal partner Marc Elias (who again made a name for himself in 2020 by dismantling election security measures in battleground states nationwide). Mate outlines how these two Democrat operatives were central to the Russia Hoax. “The emerging picture,” he says, “shows Sussmann and his Perkins Coie colleague Marc Elias, the chief counsel for Clinton’s 2016 campaign, proceeding on parallel, coordinated tracks to solicit and spread disinformation tying Donald Trump to the Kremlin.”

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2021/10/19/coming_into_focus_hillarys_secretive_russiagate-flogging_pair_of_super-lawyers_799168.html

Sussmann was indicted for concealing the fact that he was working on behalf of Hillary’s campaign when he went to the FBI in September 2016 with a fake story about computer servers at Trump Tower “pinging” with those at Alfa Bank, a financial institution allegedly linked to Vladimir Putin, suggesting “collusion.” Fortunately, Alfa Bank sued Christopher Steele and others involved in this fabrication, and court documents apparently provided Durham’s investigators with a lot of pertinent details.

What we like about Mate’s piece is its look at the activities of Hillary’s “dynamic duo,” Sussman and Elias, as they fulfilled their mission to get the “Russia” narrative going. It’s also got some interesting details on Sussmann and CrowdStrike, the tech company that ended up with the DNC servers after the DNC claimed in April 2016 that their emails had been hacked. It was Sussmann who immediately hired CrowdStrike. And it was CrowdStrike who quickly made the claim –- still unproven –- that Russia had hacked the DNC servers to obtain the emails that were made public by WikiLeaks.

In moves that “smell” coordinated, just days before Sussmann hired CrowdStrike and pressed them to implicate the Kremlin, Elias retained opposition research company Fusion GPS to, as Mate puts it, “dig up dirt on Trump and the Kremlin.” CrowdStrike alleged the Russia “hack” and Christopher Steele produced his first “dossier” report within six days of each other. Mate’s report is the first we’ve seen of this part of the timeline.

In later congressional testimony, Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson called the overlap of the two lawyers’ activities “an extraordinary coincidence.”

But together, these two Democrat Party lawyers played a central role in defining the fake Trump-Russia narrative. In Mate’s words, their “odd relationship” with the FBI gave them “unprecedented influence over a high-stakes national security scandal that upended U.S. politics and ensnared their political opponents.” We’ve all heard plenty about Marc Elias, Fusion GPS and the “dossier,” so for now let’s focus on the emerging story of Sussmann’s involvement with CrowdStrike.

When another Perkins Coie colleague, Graham Wilson, told Sussmann in April 2016 that a DNC server had been breached, Sussmann immediately called CrowdStrike. (He later testified to the House Intel Committee that CrowdStrike had been hired on his “recommendation.”) And here’s something dodgy: CrowdStrike’s contract to examine the DNC servers was NOT with the DNC but with Sussmann and Perkins Coie. The contract states: “CrowdStrike shall cooperate with Firm in protecting the Parties’ communications and work product from disclosure under the attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine or other applicable privileges or protections.”

Pretty slick, huh? But Elias/Perkins Coie and Fusion GPS had the same arrangement, to protect THEIR communications, too. And apparently, both attorneys hid the fact that it was the DNC and Hillary’s campaign who were footing the bill for the Russia Hoax. Everybody in this whole scheme was set up to have privileged communications!

Still, though I’m not a lawyer, I seem to recall that such privilege is not applicable if it’s a cover for breaking the law.

Apparently, it was Sussmann who controlled what the FBI was allowed to see. It was reported by THE NEW YORK TIMES that within a day, CrowdStrike “confirmed that the intrusion had originated in Russia.” In June 2016, Sussmann and DNC executives met with the FBI and encouraged the Bureau to go public with the “Russia” story and even say specifically that it was espionage. Sussmann pushed hard for this but offered the FBI no evidence in the form of forensic images or an unredacted report from CrowdStrike.

So the FBI wasn’t ready to proclaim this, but that didn’t stop the DNC from going public on its own. Sussmann and CrowdStrike CEO Shawn Henry were named as sources for a story that ran in the WASHINGTON POST.

Much later, after his testimony before the House Intel Committee was finally declassified in May 2020, we learned that Shawn Henry had no actual indication that the DNC servers had even been hacked, let alone by Russia. “There’s circumstantial evidence,” he said, “but no evidence that they were actually infiltrated.” U.S. intel officials were using weasel-words such as “likely” and “appears to” in their own documents –- including Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report –- to cover up the lack of proof.

On big question is why the FBI would rely on CrowdStrike’s word on the “hacking” of the DNC servers. The FBI has said the DNC denied them access to the servers, while the DNC said the equivalent of, “Well, they never asked.” When Sussmann and Shawn Henry testified before the House Intel Committee in December 2017, they said the FBI “did not try” to conduct an independent investigation. Sussmann testified that he said he offered access to “everything CrowdStrike was developing,” but to his knowledge they never sought access. It’s hard to know what is true, especially since Sussmann has been INDICTED FOR LYING. Another tip-off: he’s a lawyer for the DNC.

But former FBI Director James Comey testified that the FBI had made “multiple requests at different levels” to access the servers and had been denied. Gosh, it’s hard to know what to believe when known liars are contradicting each other.

James Trainor, who was then assistant director for the FBI Cyber Division, told the Senate Intel Committee that Sussmann had “scrubbed” the CrowdStrike report before it was given to the FBI, resulting in a “stripped-down version” that was “not optimal.” So the FBI was left with no investigation of its own, only CrowdStrike’s report that Sussmann had finessed and redacted. CrowdStrike’s original, unredacted report remains unreleased to this day.

So, no one has seen evidence of a Russia “hack.” But someone got the DNC emails to WikiLeaks. Julian Assange still won’t say, but he has said it wasn’t Russia or any state. There’s no indication –- so far –- that Durham is looking into that. CrowdStrike told REAL CLEAR INVESTIGATIONS that the special counsel hasn’t been in touch.

But maybe he'll find out from Michael Sussmann.

Fighting back works

By Mike Huckabee

The good news is that Congressional Democrats have caved before the tsunami of outrage over their plans to have the IRS track every financial transaction or bank balance over $600 and have raised the limit to $10,000. The bad news is that they’re still trying to have the IRS track every transaction or bank balance over $10,000.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2021/10/20/democrats-now-say-they-will-only-snoop-on-bank-transactions-over-10000-n1525471

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said, “Today’s new proposal reflects the Administration’s strong belief that we should zero in on those at the top of the income scale who don’t pay the taxes they owe, while protecting American workers by setting the bank account threshold at $10,000 and providing an exemption for wage earners like teachers and firefighters.”

Republicans pointed out that this would still intrude on the privacy of every small business owner and many individuals who might have balances or transactions over $10,000, for everything from depositing daily restaurant earnings to saving for a car to making a down payment on a house.

We’ve heard this “It'll only trap rich crooks” claim before, when law enforcement was given civil asset forfeiture powers. It wasn’t long before they were happily abusing that power to seize cash, houses and other assets from innocent Americans who were lucky if they could ever get their rightful property back. Here are just 10 particularly egregious examples out of many:

https://listverse.com/2015/06/29/10-egregious-abuses-of-civil-asset-forfeiture/

Do you really think that if the IRS gets this snooping power, that agency or the politicians overseeing it won’t abuse it?

Besides, if the real target is very rich tax evaders, why is the threshold set at $10,000? People in that tax bracket spend that much on a watch or a designer gown to wear to a gala with AOC. Would they really risk audits and jail time over what they would consider sofa cushion change? $10,000 may sound like big bucks to you, but it’s nothing to the people the Democrats claim are the target. Setting it that low means you are the target.

Fauci was under oath when he said this

By Mike Huckabee

In May, Dr. Anthony Fauci testified to the Senate under oath that the National Institute of Health “has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” However, we now know that’s not true. A letter has been released showing that in 2018 and 2019, the NIH funded gain-of-function research on a bat virus with a grant to EcoHealth Alliance, which was then sub-awarded to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/10/20/nih-contradicts-fauci-admits-funding-gain-of-function-research-at-wuhan-lab/

Molecular biologist Richard H. Ebright, who posted the letter, said it shows that Fauci and other NIH officials “lied to Congress, lied to the press and lied to the public. Knowingly. Willfully. Brazenly.”

Sen. Rand Paul, who has long accused Fauci of lying, tweeted, “‘I told you so’ doesn’t even begin to cover it here.” And Sen. Tom Cotton called for Fauci to be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

However, the NIH claims that this bat virus is different enough from the COVID-19 virus that COVID couldn’t have been created from it in a lab. And we can trust them because…well, they’ll get back to us on that.

Virginia update

By Mike Huckabee

Nothing says, “Vote fraud is nonexistent and election integrity laws aren’t needed” like changing the rules in mid-vote to help your candidate who’s struggling in the polls.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/virginia-county-is-violating-election-law-amid-governor-race-lawsuit-claims

To show how desperate the Terry McAuliffe campaign has become in Virginia, their latest tactic is to accuse Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin of anti-Semitism.

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2021/10/20/desperation-sets-in-as-glenn-youngkin-is-accused-of-anti-semitism-n460238

Why? Because he criticized George Soros for funding the races of school board members who are inserting leftist propaganda into schools. And Soros is Jewish, so that must be the reason Youngkin criticized him, not that other substantive stuff I just mentioned that has nothing to do with him being Jewish.

I have been to Israel more times than anyone else I know and am a strong defender of Israel and the Jewish people. But claiming that criticizing George Soros makes you anti-Semitic is like saying you hate British people just because you slammed Jack the Ripper.

TRUTH Social

By Mike Huckabee

In a surprise announcement last night, former President Trump revealed that he will be launching a new social media network called “TRUTH Social” in the first quarter of 2022. It’s from a newly-formed company called Trump Media & Technology Group.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-announces-truth-social-network-will-be-rolled-out-nationwide-in-first-quarter-of-2022

Trump said the platform’s mission is to “give a voice to all” and that "I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable." He added, “Everyone asks me why doesn't someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!"

The site begins a beta test next month with invited users, and it will reportedly eventually offer a subscription video-on-demand service that will include “‘non-woke’ entertainment programming, news, podcasts, and more.”

I’m sure that if it allows free speech, media outlets will be scouring it to find anything controversial so they can accuse Trump of enabling hate speech and violence. But he would have the perfect response: in order to maintain his protection from lawsuits under Section 230 of the Communications Act, it has to be a neutral platform, not a publisher that decides what content is allowed to be posted. That’s the same requirement that applies to Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media platforms that are currently blatantly violating it.

A Justice Department double standard

By Mike Huckabee

Another great moment for the Biden “Justice” Department: a man on Twitter who repeatedly threatened Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz’s life traveled to Washington, DC, with the alleged intent of killing him. The Capitol Police recommended that he be arrested. The Biden “Justice” Department refused.

https://amgreatness.com/2021/10/20/doj-allegedly-refused-to-arrest-maniac-who-traveled-to-dc-to-kill-matt-gaetz-after-capitol-police-recommended/

Gaetz said, “It is yet another example of the Department of Justice having a double standard. If my name weren’t Gaetz — if it were Omar, or Tlaib - you can bet this person would have been arrested because that’s what the Capitol Police recommended, but the Department of Justice really doesn’t seem to care so much when it’s Republicans.”

Maybe they just don’t remember the deranged Bernie Bro who nearly killed Rep. Steve Scalise. That's understandable, since the media have done everything possible to memory-hole that story. This is why I put the quotation marks around “Justice” whenever I type Biden “Justice” Department.

Senate Republicans block Democrats once again

By Mike Huckabee

Once again this week, Senate Republicans blocked Democrats from getting the 60-vote threshold to overcome a filibuster and pass their bill to nationalize elections and legalize vote fraud, or as they call that, “protecting democracy.” That has once again fired up the radicals to demand that Democrats do away with the filibuster entirely so they can shove through their radical agenda with 50 votes against the will of half the nation – again, in the name of “protecting democracy.”

https://www.breitbart.com/news/senate-gop-again-poised-to-block-democrats-election-bill/

They must have a lot of confidence that this bill will cement them into power forever because if the 2022 elections aren’t rigged, there’s a good chance they’ll be very sorry they stripped the minority of power.

Hymnal

Crown Him with Many Crowns

To Listen:  https://youtu.be/If-svStcvS8

Crown Him with many crowns,

The Lamb upon His throne;

Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns

All music but its own:

Awake, my soul, and sing

Of Him who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King

Through all eternity.

Crown Him the Son of God

Before the worlds began,

And ye, who tread where He hath trod,

Crown Him the Son of man;

Who every grief hath known

That wrings the human breast,

And takes and bears them for His own,

That all in Him may rest.

Crown Him the Lord of love!

Behold His hands and side,

Those wounds, yet visible above,

In beauty glorified:

No angel in the sky

Can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends his wondering eye

At mysteries so bright!

Crown Him the Lord of life

Who triumphed o’er the grave,

And rose victorious in the strife

For those He came to save;

His glories now we sing

Who died, and rose on high.

Who died, eternal life to bring

And lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of lords,

Who over all doth reign

Who once on earth, the incarnate Word,

For ransomed sinners slain,

Now lives in realms of light,

Where saints with angels sing

Their songs before Him day and night,

Their God, Redeemer, King.

It just occurred to me that the $10K balance idiocy will also affect college students. Because we raised a profoundly disabled son, we always told our two daughters that we'd be unable to help them much with college. Their dad did have GI Bill funding he could pass to them--so each got 2 years of help there. Otherwise, they did it all on their own, but did need to borrow. Both went into STEM fields--one has a Physics degree and the other is a Veterinarian! I know that the student loans, especially for grad school, were over $10K each semester. This plan is so ridiculous.

After all the hoopla of debates, threats and empty promises from the Left wing of our government it has become completely clear to me that there is one thing that is the common denominator, MONEY!
First of all, money to solve all our problems, yeah sure.... from the people who are getting holey pockets. Power comes from gathering and spending to whom they prefer. Case in point, abortion, give to PP who gives it back to their friends who will promise them more, in other words, shell game. Of course the surplus ends up in multiple mansions of political "servants". No wonder they are willing to go all the way from conception to the birth canal and next just before the grave. Money! Greed corrupts the mind, listen to Shumer, "they are taking away our Democracy by not voting for our bill" Poor little rich man! Another thing about money, it comes from filthy rich people who do want their way, eg, Soros, Big Tech and corporations with people hiding inside..... So every time we hear about legislation, something is going to go horribly wrong for us from our pockets.
I would much prefer to stop and smell the roses which do not cost all that much at all. Thanks for your excellent letters to help us recipients of insanity.

I could never thank you enough for sharing honest news with us every day. You are a true blessing to America. I also want to thank you for sharing the words and music to gospel hymns. I miss singing these in church. It now only only occurs rather rarely. These hymns have been a God-given blessing for 100-200 years and now we seldom get to hear or sing these wonderful hymns filled with scriptural wisdom. The other day it dawned on me that a generation of kids will grow up with knowing the words to these beautiful hymns. And that rather breaks my heart! So again, thank you for sharing both the words and the music.

It seems there is a spirit of lawlessness is in control.
Now we see no branch of the federal government is clean.all in the Obiden kingship need to be tried for high treason. Recently Psaki let the cat out of the bag when she stated the "Obama" administration. We are in some times with Biden and his handlers going after Israel. God will judge any nation for that. Most religious groups are now anti- Israel!

The comments today concerning the IRS snooping are erroneous. The new 10k threshold is not for individual transactions but is instead for aggregate cash flow through the account in any calendar year.

Banks already hand over information on transactions over $10,000 and any that they deem to be suspicious, to prevent money laundering. They also hand over data on interest that customer accounts accrue, and wage and salary income, capital gains and dividend income are already reported to the IRS on 1099s and W-2s.

Under the revised policy, accounts with $10,000 or more in total deposits and withdrawals, excluding wage income, would be subject to greater scrutiny. Banks would have to send over their aggregate inflow and outflow to the IRS to help the agency target its audits.

The inflow would not take into account salary or wage income, which is already under the purview of the IRS under W-2 forms. It would also leave out income in the form of Social Security checks.

'The average American runs over $61,000 through their account,' said Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho.

All of which is to say that while you are right that this is not only alarming but also an egregious overreach and abuse of power, its particulars are even worse than you've stated. Let's Go Brandon!

I love seeing the pictures from all around our beautiful USA, and I love the hymns that you've recently added. One place I've watched for in the pictures around the country, though, I haven't seen yet. It's one of my favorites . . . the Konza Prairie near Manhattan, KS in the great Flint Hills. There's a different kind of beauty in the prairie, not like the majesty we see in so many of the places around the country. This Konza Prairie, though, is being kept very much like the earliest settlers and native people saw. Big sky, flat horizon, rolling hills, native grasses . . . it's own very special beauty.

I'm not sure of exact numbers, but my understanding is that the Democruds want to spend billions of dollars to increase the IRS police to recapture "tax cheaters" with $10,000 in the bank...I'm not a math genius by any stretch, but if you're spending billions to "catch" 1 thousand here and ten thousand there, won't your "net" be negative? You would have to "catch" billions of dollars in order to pay for the billions you are spending...and they think there will be "extra"???There are so many loop holes for the top 1% to not pay taxes...if you want to recapture money, close the loopholes with a flat tax. I don't see this new proposal as a financial benefit to our county. Sounds like a scam to monitor bank accounts to me.
